it is because I really love Youth, his Black sun stuff, the ambient stuff, the zodiac youth stuff, his own tracks, they all mean a lot to me.

So this topic is dedicated to the best goabient tracks (and I mean really goabient tracks ever made), not Dub, not chill out, not ambient, but real goabient, I think I will list most of them but you are free to list more. I would also love if you would comment on the tracks I list. So without chronological order here are my favourites. Boris Blenn aka Electric Universe - ALIEN ENCOUNTER PART 1 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Probably the most geniune goabient track, the melodies here summerize goa trance. Astral Projection - Unbelievable Technology Youth and Simon Posford - Splosh Remix !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!KIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILLLLLLLARRRRRRGGGHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!! (yes this is definatly goabient due to the changed melody of the track that is pretty different to Ozric tentacles, this track means so much to me, on the day I listened to this first on my mp3 player I saw so incredibly thin and cute girls in my hometown of Bulgaria with jogging pants, you know the thicker ones from Adidas, that was so astonishing) I label this track as high as Alien Encounter, Astral Projection - Ambient Galaxy Boris Blenn - Longbaceglider on Solstice Boris Blenn - Kosmonaut !!! Boris Blenn - Balie Celestial Electric Universe - Visiting Venus !!! Electric Universe - Nexus Pleiadians - Deep Frequency !!! Total Eclipse - Espanolizer !!!!!! this is really a warm and somehow spanish sounding track, like the name says, it is definatly one of the best ever produced goabient tracks. Astral Projection - Electronic s.u.n. Project - Going with the flow Sure I forgot many, but what do you think about them? Please add additional tracks to this list, so we can get a full list of the best ever cereated goabient songs, like a compilation.

No, it is one kickdrum and it can be done with Odo psydrums or Dr Fusion or DR Fusion 2 and it can even be done very easily. I think it is the height knob that you have to use in order to get that sound, in other synths it will be called pitch. The lengh and curve determine how long and deep the kick is on the Dr Fusion synth, but with the height you can get that short click sound as you call it.

You should check out The infinity project - Oscilator and Squidgy Atomica, those two tracks are so happy and positive, yet emotional and sweet like a beautiful girl, they are not serious at all to me but very happy and very geniune.

Absolutely the same for me but I am still 25, I am far away from being 30, but that time will come aswell. I think and hope that when we reach an age of 50 or so the medicine will be so good, antiageing medicine be available so that the lifespan can at least be extented to 160 years. With current antiageing you may extent your life allready some years, in future hopefully the lifespam can be extented even more.

I wil stay and I have no problems with Boris Blenn jokes. I only have problem with not getting a lot of answers but thsi forum is not the most active one after all and I got a lot of replies on the youth topic. So I don't think it is a problem.

Any good drumsynth has click option that can easily be added. Some pretty good drumsynths are provided by Odosynths, Psydrums and DR Fusion. Very good samples and they have the option to add a click sound to the kickdrum.

Very good track. I like the darker atmosphere and darker more melanchoic melodies, especially at the end of the track, this is goa trance we need. 7 10

In my opinion youth is quite rare and unknown as a whole. I don#t see anyone in psynews talking about youth.

I don't know where the roots are of psychedelic trance but basically psychedelic and goa trance, the first releases are more or less electronical synths added to a sequencer and a softer kickdrum, for example one of the TR 808 sampler. And you can call even other genres of music with analogue synths and filtersweeps goa. For example the music Boris Blenn has produced earlier could be labeled just electronic music with melodies or it could be labelled goa trance. some are pure goa trance, others are rather electronic tracks with goa melodies. But not a lot of goa tracks are really complex and comparable to classical, which is very complex and with very complex melodies. Maybe a few Etnica and Pleiadians tracks have coplex melodies which are not as easy sounding, but a lot of goa trance has simple melodies, so I do not think that a lot of goa trance has it roots fro classical or is inspired by classical.

The original Ozric track is very different in my opinion. The youth version is pretty different and more melodic. In my opinion that is goabient. But if you define that music differently, feel free to recommend me more of it.

Yes, this track, this is one of the most authentic goa ambient tracks that exist. This is an example of true goabient and a true masterpeace. I am wondering why noone mentioned this legendary track yet. This is just incredible. Big respect to this track, it should be example of all goabient tracks.

As you asked i will try to answer this interesting, yet difficult question. Goa Trance is not very respected in the world and not a lot of people listen to it unfortunately. They dislike it and think it is strange music. Some people listen to it and usually those people are really chilly and smoke a joint from time to time. I know a few people who like this kind of music but do not listen to it very frequently. I know very few girls who listen to goa trance unfortunately.

Why is youth so underrated? He has produced so beautiful goa and ambient that I am wondering why he is so underrated, noone here mentions him, not even in the Rate the above track thread. I think the music he produces sounds very authentic and the synth sounds are excellent. It is pure goa trance and great ambient music aswell. Tracks I like a lot are Youth - Half moon Black sun - Sourcerors Apprentice Black Sun - Fat buddha Black Sun - Ligua But there are many many more and there is great ambient work aswell from him, for example the hidden track at zodiac youth album Devil's Circus. Melt down, what a great track. There is also a track sploch or spash, but I can't find it in discogs, incredible goabient track with E Guitar. Such a shame noone talks about him.

So you suggest I should post reviews in the review section, I would like it but it is a mess in the review section and I don't know what has been posted allready and what not, I would love to write about Youth, Hallucinogen EP's and pleiadians EPs and some compilations. I lvoe indeph analys because I like talkinga bout the music, especially showing what I like about a certain track.

I would like to recommend you Volodia Stoianov then, the stuff is very good and has a calming effect. It is really good.
