I also wanted to say that I don#t understand why people don't like the latest Shpongoel album. In my opinion it is very nice and I find it better because he used more electronical sounds and it sounds closer to goa tan the second album. The first shpongle album however was better since it was moreambient in sound than world music. So I like the third shpongle and think that it has it's moments.

this is a very good track aktually. It has a strong atmosphere and solid melodies in my opinion. It sounds like Goa Trance and I don't mind the bassline, which is not too far away from full on. But this type of full on is not bad, just like Astrix, which is also nice from time to time. I like it and give it a 7,5 / 10

this is indeet a very hard question to answer since both bands are incredibly good. The new MFG stuff Message from God album for example is very good aswell. The older MFG stuff like psychic resonator, illumination, the prophecy, Experience, Why, Beyond the Planet are som4e incredible goa tracks which are very emotional and really sound like goa trance should sound. but Astral projection on the other hand have release so beautiful tracks that I just can't say MFG can compete with them. Astral projection have released some of the best racks among Goa Trance and for me some of the best tracks of all music. The following tracks by Astral projection are the reason MFG does not get my vote, Ambient Galaxy, Tryptomine dream, Unbelievable Technology, Virtual Booster, KABALAH, MAHADEVA 99, When we Dream, People can Fly, COSMIC ACCENSION REMIX and some more. Those tracks are just out of this world in my opinion and they have something MFG does ot have. The euphoria and the uplifting vibe, yet the very dense atmosphere makes you feel like you are outisde or at a place and here many voices and see many different colours, like at the bitch with intersting water and so on. it is very emotional music and it is unbelievably fresh, that is what I like aobut them. I think MFG are not that similar to Astral Projection, Astral Projection sound mroe like MWNN and old Boris Blenn in my opinion. But MFG are pretty close to Astral Projection for sure and they are one of the top bands, big respect for them.

I don#t expect anything, there is more than enough music to listen to even if Hallucinogen wont release another album, but if he releases one I would appreciate it a lot of he keeps his geniume and unique sound and produces tracks in his style, I don't want him to do something "new" just because the old stuff wont have the same impact. Music is music and it is timeless, that is how classic is listened even today and it does not need to sound new. Tracks like Strangled cat would be incredible in my opinion, since that is exactly how hallucinogen sounds and should sound.

The complaints here are really complaints of high level, instead that we jsut look up and hope for another album we complain here. Ofcourse the new material wont sound like the old stuff since the technology, the mastering the synthessizers all sound beter these days and it is easier to produce music these days. So I would love another album with tracks like on Twisted just with better quality. For example look at the track "STrangled cats". It sounds typically like Hallucinogen for me and I want the next album to sound absolutely like hallucinogen. Stragned cats is an incredible track and it sounds old and that is the way the new album should sound aswell. If you want to listen to something new, listen to Filteria monotonic crap instead, that is new and does not sound like oldschool

so it is not released yet, it wil take a lot of time until it is released from now on. he will work two years on it at least. But still, it is great if he will prodcue another hallucinogen album, it is aobut time and I am sure it will be a true masterpeace.

there is one goambient album indeet, called Galaxy - Angel http://www.discogs.com/Galaxy-Angel/release/41087 Alltracks of it are goambient tracks, some are very good and very deep, I like the album a lot. But it is a bit dry and electronical, it is not as alife as goa trance and some tracks have simple melodies. I would dream of an album by Asral Projection with only downbeat tracks. Tracks like Unbelievable Technology and Ambient Galay, a whole album like that would be amazing. Goambient can be more varried since the artists does not have to sue the 4 X 4 rythm but can use intersting rythms within the tracks and can create very interesting tracks just like the AP ambient stuff, very alive and deeper than most of their Goa Trance stuff. Still on Mars for example, what a beautiful track.

No, I don#t want just one track to be named, I want some tracks to be named which are simmilar in style and are geniume not coloured goa trance, with the real Goa sounds and synths. I forgot to add some more. hallucinogen - Shamanix Remix Hallucinogen - space Pussy Hallucinogen - Gamma GoblinsPt. 1 & Pt 2 those tracks match the style of Ayahuasca and Electric universe tracks listed above.

But if I would play Oforia to my friends they would say it is melanchoic, especially the ambient Oforia stuff. You can#t comapre Oforia to Man with no name for example and other users agreed that oforia is melanchoic aswell, they said nostalgic. So in fact you are ignorant, since allready in this thread users confirmed that Oforia is melanchoic and you want to say that they are mixed up aswell? It is very strange that some users here, not a lot have very different views of what is melanchoic than the rest of the world I know from outside. to anyone I would play Oforia they would say it is rather said and negative, would I play Astral they would say it is happy so I would advice some users here to share their songs with some people who do not neccessarily listen to goa trance and then be confrimed whether it is sad or not. People are able allready as childs to distinguish between sad and happy, between bright and dark, just like colors we see we are able to say what is sad and what is happy. that is natural, since when someone whines he has some melanchony, whining is not a happy melody, but rather a sad melody, so songs that are closer to the sound of whining can be interpretated as sad and others as happy, that is a very very rough example, but I want to say with that, that it is defined what is melanchoic and what not. Or would you say to a very cloudy Autumn day with leaves falling from the trees, that it looks happy because you see a flower in some corner of the picture? A lot of ambient Oforia tracks like Oforia soil for example are tracks with rather dark and negative melodies, they fwould fit very well to be played at some dramatic moments in a movie or something like that, but nostalgic is even a better definition like one user said. I guess you find Shidapu - Vertigo melanchoic, altough it is not melanchoic at all but you find Astral Projection - Aurora borealis a very happy and uplifting track, altough that is some more melanchoic track by them.

That is your way of view, however I think that the big differences should be classified. Because when you listen to Ayahuasca - Propella you will not adapt emidiatelly to Astral Projection -But I accept your view since in the end you are right, every artist has his own stlye, but I find a lot of similarities between the tracks mentioned above.

Back in time it was very easy to find good goa trance cds on local music stores. You even could ask the shop assistant to play the cd. Some people even liked it and played it loud for you if you wanted.

so as I have said there are a lot of subgenres and mood styles in Goa Trance, but let's talk about the really geniune Goa Trance stuff which is just true and deep goa trance, which is not light, moring style or something uplifting goa to trance, but the geniune stuff, there are not that many tracks in my opinion that are the really geniune goa stuff. Astral Projection for example, altough I love them is not that geniune altough I love them, they are uplfiting most of the time and very good. Hallucinogen is more experimental and still very good, but also not the pure goa stuff. for me the following tracks are pure goa trance tracks: Ayahuasca - New Moon Ayahuasca - Propella Ayahuasca - Ayahuascan chant Electric Universe - Stardiver hallucinogen - LSD MFG - The prophecy MFG - Psychic Resonator MFG - Shape the futre Hallucinogen - Alpha Centauri Electric Universe - Alien Encounter Part 1 Man with no Name - Teleportation album (most of it) Man with no name - Under the Influence That is true Goa Trance for me, it is rather simple but the atmosphere is very deep and geniune, especially the first 5 tracks. Astral Projection - Axis V.99 is definately a melanchoic song, however not too sad.

Green Nuns of Evolution are very nice. It is very acidic stuff, however this is not overly emotional and a bit basic. Neurogen, you are very ignorant and think what you sa is right. with melanchoic I mean sad and thoughtful, if you think Oforia - Timelessness is not sad, I am sorry. When you have been told music lessons at your school didn#t they even teach you which scales are sad and which are not? Oforia does not have to use such scales neccessarily, but I am sure in school they have told you about symphonies played in durr and in moll. My theacher explained to me that the moll scale is the one sounding more serious, thoughtful and darker than the durr scale, so if you think goa trance tracks that are closer to moll are happy, you have serious issues and also other people posting here. Do you see spritual healings being close to moll in the use of notes, can you hear that? I can hear the use of only happy notes and scales on spritual healing, so how can it be melanchoic? also the Blue planet corp and Etnica stuff, most of the tracks posted are not moll or with a sad scale, the Oforia tracks for example are. ranswave - Hypersphere for example is a melanchoic track, the notes aren't as happy as on spiritual healings and it sounds very thoughtful "nachdenklich" translated. Two tracks that have not a lot to dowith each other. Hypersphere by Transwave for example is indeet a bit melancholic, that is true. However Z Plane Sunrise is not a melanchonic track in my opnion. There was an Etnica track that was very emotional and sad, but I don't remember it's name.

you can post whatever jokes you want, but my keyboard is very old and I type blind without looking at the keyboard, if I would be looking at it, many keys are not visible anymore anyway, but ofcourse I know where they are. But the keyboard is probably not responding as it should to gentle pressure. so when I type one word wrong it is no reason to have a laugh about me.
