not sure, I liked the track of Manuser more. your track has some big key changes that I really don#t like in goa trance, otherwise it is ok. But I don#t like Goa tracks that have key changes of half an octave all the tim and all the elements like bassline and other things change with it aswell.
-
No need to have a fight about this. What do you think about The Delta, do you think this track is aggressive, or not? I think it is rather aggressive compared to Hunab Ku for example.
-
sorry man, but you are just wrong here, I understand English very well, but send someone who listens metall the Hunab Ku track and send him Live on mars and ask him, which track is more aggressive. In my definition aggressive music is music with sharp sounds, heavy melodies, a rather dark or depressed mood. Corridors of Chaos is such a happy track you can't say it has anything to do with dark. this is a bit aggressive but also a true masterpeace, it is more aggressive than the Hunab Ku track.
-
this is exaclty the style I am after, except the melody at 9 minutes is a bit difficult to follow, but the track is very laid back, yet it is deep and emotional and is great for background listening while driving or while reading some articles on the internet.

The Antidote - sunrise has nothing to do with light goa Trance. It is very deep in my opnion and puts you ina direct and intense journey. it is not a track you can play azt the background, cause it raises your emotion emidiatelly, not light at all. neurogen I don+#t have a clue where you live, but I guess in a country much in the north. since your definition of Hunab <Ku being aggressive, especially Corridors of Chaos and the other tracks on that album makes not senc, look, in my opinion aggressive Goa trance, and others have said that aswell is, Astral projection - Live on mars Astral Projection - Searching for UFOs Astral Projection - Visions of nasca MFG - Experience MFG - Why MFG - We are the mashines Psychaos in general is a bit aggressive, but extremly good. And the mentioned Hunab Ku tracks are not aggressive at all, they are light and great for background listening, Blue Planet Corp is a bit lighter indeet, but not a lot. The definitions of being emotional, aggressive, deep, dark and so on are very strange in this forum anyway. Goa trance lovers that I know in real life or on Facebook describe things differently. For example they would classify most Astral Projection tracks as "emotional", like they really are. They would classify Blue Planet corp or Hunab Ku as light and they would classify Boris Bleen as emotional and straight forword and euphoric, But they would not classify Hunab Ku as aggressive.

Does it sound similar like Hunab Ku - Corridors of chaos?
-
you can't listen to samples of it unfortunately.
-
do you mean the artist Hunab Ku or what? The artist Hunab Ku is great, light Goa Trance that despite being light sounds really emotional and has something unique.
-
Thanks for the many responses by the way, I am wondering how I recieved so many responses in such a short time. I will check that stuff out, however light Goa Trance is rare so it is difficult to find. Adrenalinum Drum is not bad for light Goa Trance by the way.
-
havn#t checked it out yet. Blue Planet cooperation is great, however pretty different to Hunab Ku. I don't like California sunshine at all, the melodies they used are very strange.
-
you are partly right, but the Infinity Project tracks for example sound similar, however the meloddies are heavy. I love Infinity Project, but it does not feat to this description. The Hunab Ku track is much different, it is not as deep as Infinity project, yet it is good and emotional. Any similar tracks to that one would be appreciated. The indoor tracks mentioned here are more on the brighter side but in my opinion Indoor is very emotional aswell, it has nothing to do with light and laid back, it is very emotional. another example of light in my opnion is Pleiadians - Photonic Part 2, it is not as spacey as Hunab Ku but it is very laid back aswell.
-
I love Boris Bleen and Portamento is a great track, however it is not as light as I described. Also all other side projects by Boris are classics by themselfes for sure. the doof stuff is light and yet psychedelic, however it is not as light as the Hunab Ku for example or most Aban Don tracks. Crystal is a very light sounding track, yet very psychedelic. State of Mind however is more normal sounding. There are also other examples of whom I can't think right now.
-
It is light because the emotional impact is not that strong, the atmosphere is not as euphoric and aggressive, the speed is not very fast, the sounds choosen are not very harsh and the baslsines not very strong. The Hunab Ku track has a light bassline just like the Paul Van Dyk track.

Can you name me all light goa Trance you can think off? usually light Goa Trance is more psychedelic and deeper than the heavy Goa stuff. The heavy goa stuff has lots of emotion in the tracks. lots of euphoria or melanchonie, which the brain and the listener can use for a strong emotional state he wants to achieve emidiatelly, it is listened very well when you are alone or with headphones, because heavy goa trance is not usually osme music you want a lot of interruptions, Astral Projection is not that heavy though. you canlisten to heavy Goa trance with friends ofcourse while the music is at the background and still enjoy it, but an interruptless listen will give you the full insight to the musi. Light goa Trance however you can listen with friends in the room and it wont direct you to one extreme of feelings or the other, it will give you a lighter direction, which however will be stronger and much deeper, that is why I love light Goa trance, but there is way too little light Goa Trance out there, that can give you very deep emotions. Light Goa Trance does not have repetative or heavy melodies that go deepinto your stomach, it is light and has light but psychedelic melodies, I am looking for tracks like Hunab Ku - Chorridors of chaos - A very very awesome track, one of my alltime favourites and a very intelligent masterpeace, when it comes to light goa tracne. It is a brilliant very deep Goa Track, yet it is light, the other Hunab Ku stuff is similar. Paul Van Dyk - I can#t feel it. couldn't believe my eyes when I listened to this and opened the player to see what a nice track is playing. this is also like Hunab Ku the definition of light Goa Trance, a very light, yet bit melanchonic and enojoyable Goa Trance track, which is better than many tracks by real Goa artists. Paul van Dyk is commercial, but he is a maste and has doen a lot of good stuff in many genres. yhea that are the two examples that came to my mind, can't think of other tracks right now. If you want to mention Sundog, his stuff is not light enough for me and has strong emotional impacts in his tracks.

I did provide tracks that proove you wrong. Phenomenna, Planet Mars, labyrinth, Concorde, you are Alone and more.
-
well, if it is not on your list, it does not mean it is bad. i have shown to friends, who do not listen goa Trance Miranda Tracks like Phenomena, Planet Mars and more and they all loved it. the tracks are also pretty Storytelling in my opinion and they are very emotional and uplifting.
-
I disagree. I find her tracks very good and altough simple in sounds the tracks are anything lke commercial. She is surely one of the top old artists, at least in my opinion. Her tracks "Planet Mars", "concorde, "labyrinth", "y0uo are Alone" "Subtropical Rainforest", and "phenomena" are all true masterpeaces and they are similar in style to Astral Projection, so I totally disagree that she is commercial. Miranda is a name that stands for top goa Trance in my opinion and she can compare with the Top artists for sure. and we should not forget about his tracks as Athena. There is one track callec "Croctopus" and in my opnion it is together with LSD, Kabalah, The Feelings and Mahadeva the definition of Goa Trance, If she wants to earn money with the tracks there is nothing to complain. If she makes good music people should spend money on it.

Joti is a very talented musician, his Goa Trance music is very good and emotional, I like it a lot.

the perfect song to listen to when you're having the blues

Zodiac youth - Melt Down is a beautiful song for that. It is very psychedelic, very calming and yet atmospheric, so it fits great for listening after a party and calming down. -
the most aggressive, atmospheric Goa TRance
radi6404 replied to radi6404's topic in General Psytrance
Whne you are not looking at the text, I mean you are listening to it but not paying that much attention to what it means it is the closest to Goa Trance you can find, except Progressive Goa Trance. The atmosphere you recieve is very similar to Goa Trance, however more intense and much more awakening than Goa Trance. It is rougher and harder, which I love, but it is also very intense and a bit melanchoni: I can#t explain how much I like that music. so far the recommendations are pretty good. -

The track is very good. Ormion, don#t be ignorant my Greek friend. Allready a motorway to your border is being built and your country does not build motorways anymore. -

radi6404 replied to radi6404's topic in General Psytrance
And by the way, the text is not very importatn when the melody and atmosphere are great. so your excuse technosoomy is lame. Because it is the music that makes the music, not the text, only if the text would be extremly violent or racist, but it is not, it is moderate, so it does not put Rammstein music down. -

the older songs do not have much to do with agression, havn#t listened to the later ones though. As a native German speaker I know that the older songs are not about violence or something. They sing about the sun, what is aggressive there? On other songs they make fun of America, in another one they sing about preying, in one song he sings about his mother and so on. There are some violent lyrics there indeet, but not as violent as most metal, like marylin Manson for example, who sings about drugs a lot. Rammstein - Adios, there they sing about nothing is for you, nothing was for you and nothing will be for you forever. Technosoomy, I have found out that you are a bit narrowmindet, aren't you? You said you don#t like Astral, here you say Rammstein si too violent for you and has nothing to do with goa. If you listen to Rammstein songs you will find many similarities to Goa Trance. The melodies are similar and the atmosphere and feelings you recieve with those tracks are in my opnion pretty similar to those you would recieve in goa Trance. I do not care a lot about the lyrics, since it is how you sing them. But ofcourse you have the right to give your opnion and if you find Rammstein is aggressive it is your choise. I like some of the tracks musicwise. -
I prefer the Electric universe tracks with classical sounding ove that one. Do you know about "paradise Connection - Synthadelic Glide" and Creation, those are amazing tracks by boris blenn. i love Boris Blenn, and there is one incredible track, that you can buy from discogs, it is called Kosmonaut, it is100 percent Boris Bleen and it is absolutely Boris Blenn.
