You've changed your tune a lot. I thought you believed AP (especially the early work) to be the badger's nadgers!

raison d'etre - requiem for abandoned souls very nice album, dark & soft. Horror movie sound track feel. raison d'etre - Luminous Experience (Live 2008) harsher sounds, more built for a sound system rather than headphones Atrium Carceri - Ptahil Another nice dark album from Atrium Carceri but not as good as his others

Very nicely set out Good suggestions

You should definitely come! It's worth a visit for sure. The kanji characters are hard to write but with a computer you just write in the hiragana ひらがな which are letters & the computer (or cell phone) will convert them. Most people now can read them but not write so many

No problem, for some reason my recording device cuts of sooner the higher the quality I try to record. For me the bit rate quality is fine. My hearing must be fucked

After listening to the Bamboo Forest album released previous to this one I've not even given it a chance. Even if it's a 1000 times better it'll still be shite

I have only Magic Diner which has nothing to do with electro. Some nice ambient

Talking to like minded people about anything has it's appeal. I guess you don't want to join, you probably wont be missed. edit: I've never understood this, why do I have to register? problem so many people have. It takes like 2 minutes. Just how lazy are you?

I always loved acid techno on nights out, mix tapes or pirate radio but can't for the life of me remember any artists

Was perfect in my opinion. When I first listened to the CD, it was a nice surprise & when I put it on my ipod I could just not include the silent track. Thanks

I am especially fond of... Robert Rich & B. Lustmord - Stalker Creepy dark soundscapes with no cliches Atrium Carceri - Seishinbyouin Sample ridden nightmarish stuff False Mirror - Chronostatic Scenes Dark semi-nightmarish trippy & cool Spielerei & Mantacoup - Cold War Cold nuclear winter music what else is, in your opinion the best dark ambient out there? For me I don't like cliche stuff like you get in dark psy but just dark creepy stuff. Just got too raison d'etre albums which have sounded great so far.

You are thinking of today's vinyl buyer, the music otaku that spends time staring at the disc before he even puts it on. Back in the day when vinyl was the only format available the majority of buyers didn't look too intently at the grooves & just put it on.

Michael Andresen, top notch ambient & prog producer has put his music for free download on his site http://www.12moons.se/. All the albums are fantastic, I particularly like the Healer albums but 12 Moons progressive style is so warm & nice that everyone should get it. Check it out
