  1. You like the rhyming ones then?
  2. What did happen to Radi? He got bored of the lack of activity here? Wondering why Reddit's r/funny gets so many replies when psynews only gives 6 pages of replies to his video showing the Bulgarian tarmac. I wish he was here.
  3. We love your music we're going to make you a star. But first we need to make some tweaks to your music in order for it to appeal to a wider audience. We'll have to get rid of this acid synth lines, people don't like those. And the kick is too hard well need to soften that or maybe get rid of it all together, people are put off if it's too hard. We like your melodies but we can't have them change through the track, people like consistency so well make sure people remember them. People don't like songs with no singing do we hired you a singer, don't worry we already wrote the words so you don't have to. Okay now one last tiny tweak: people don't have the attention span for 10 minute tracks so we've shortened everything to 3 minutes. We love your music, you're going to be huge!
  4. Ahhhhhh, the perfect setting
  5. Have you guys not seen his live shows in Tokyo? Check them out http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=kmYO13HV54I
  6. Psytrance as with a lot of music is audio art. Because it's art, because it's creative and different it will be adored by a small number of people, but the majority of people just don't get it. For things to be truly mainstream popular they have to be "liked" by a lot of people. As what people adore is so different from other people's, to be liked by do many it has to be inoffensive: nothing in it that many people would hate. In other words bland. Lovers of music, not just Psytrance but any genre that is creative will hate mainstream pop, they'll also probably hate other artistic genres because they're not personally into them. It's a shame more people aren't in to our favourite music but if they were, it'd probably mean the music has become bland and more mainstream.
  7. This is exactly my feelings to this. I have loved this album but didn't like it on my last listen. Maybe next week it'll be great again.
  8. My German is not good enough to argue, I just thought the suffix came from the meaning "people from" and the towns were named after the people.
  9. But I really wanted to include it At times I feel jealous of newer listeners as they get to experience all that music for the first time
  10. Indeed, I listened to the last track three times in a row. Fantastic energy!

  16. Damn, this is hard. I think this thread was messed up from the OP as nothing here is a one hit wonder and I agree with Ormion, I really doubt there are (m)any. I thought of Death Snare Pussies as I'd only ever heard one track ever from them, and it was great but it turns out it was just a collaboration of famous artists. https://www.discogs.com/artist/27789-Death-Snare-Pussies Are there any real one hit wonders? Really someone who had one good track then disappeared. Most of the answers in this thread sound more like an answer to the question "which artist has a track do much better than all their others?"
  17. To be fair, Music For The Jilted Generation is a fantastic album. Still love that to this day along with the Prodigy Experience.
  18. If you could that would be great. As I got older I loved Darshan's style more and more. Some much class in his music.
  19. Blue Planet Corporation - Blueprint for Survival. I can't remember it being quite as good as this. It's fantastic!!!
  20. Morphic Resonance - The City of Moons I'm liking this a lot so far.
  21. This for me is the best of the flight series. It was very different from the first two and this was what first got me into the no-melody progressive minimal whatever style. It's a smooth trip through trance with a lot of psy and it's very psychedelic and groovy. It's been nearly 20 years, it's stood the test of time and I still love it. Atmos - Klein aber doctor Slide - Confusional State Stoop & Fidget - Mudless Dragon - Freak the Greek Bus - Something's Always Out There Blue Planet Corporation - Micromega ...are all stand outs. Fantastic rather than just great like the rest.
  22. When I was 25 folks, as you can see I was a real fuckin' charmer. I stand by everything I said though more than a decade ago, the only thing I'd change is my opinion of the beginning of CD3, it's great, not disappointing at all. CD3 is one of my all time favourite mixes. It just oozes brilliance I live it. The two Bamboo Forest tracks at the end are pure class. Flying Rhino Records released some too notch stuff and all three of these discs are up there with the best they released, and there's three if them. I've owned this for 17 years (fucking feel old here) and this still gets regular listens. Of Flying Rhino compilations I'd say that this, Black Rhino, Third Flight - Slipstream, Singularity snd Singularity 2:001 are the best. Outside of Flying Rhino, overall I prefer the more colourful Goa, think First Flight and Retrodelica on FRR but the Rhino boys did this style so well that I love this kind of music (CD3) more than the old school stuff on first flight Edit: I cannot believe how cheaply you can buy this compilation. https://www.discogs.com/sell/item/250668630
  23. But when the battery started running out you got a cool downbeat version of whatever you were listening to. Who could miss that?
