  1. Yeah, the first copy of Schlabb 6 I bought from Quintrix was scratched to fuck but I couldn't be bothered going back in to Tokyo to take it back. Was a bit pissed of for sure!
  2. Don't let that put you off Solar Fields - Leaving Home or Solar Fields - Extended as they are fantastic. No harsh noises. Great melodies, structured & atmospheric.
  3. I listen to quite a lot of Goa & Psy but for me I prefer it when I'm out & about. Not inside where I have paper thin walls & don't want to annoy the neighbours. I prefer more ambient when I'm in the house so that's what I'm usually listening to when I come here. Still a goa lover though
  4. TIP Records Black Compilation Phosphorescent np Orichalcum - Alien Homes
  5. I recommend for you Adham Shaikh - Journey to the Sun which has some lovely warm sounds & very story like and available Other people have already recommended you Ishq - Orchid, which I definitely second! Beautiful sounds but unfortunately out of stock in most online stores & at Dakini's website. Still it's worth the GBP30 it's being sold for on discogs. Although there are some cold sounds I find Solar Fields - Extended to be such a beautiful, warm/cold journey that it shouldn't be passed up. Still available here but probably not for long. I wanted to recommend Matt Coldrick & Matt Hillier - Elemental Journey - Absolute Ambient 2 available at psyshop. The other release on that label Music For A Busy Head is warm and fuzzy & available too. Elve - Infinite Garden & Ishvara - Magik Square Of The Sun were available at the website virtual world last time I checked but it seems to be down. Check back another time & maybe you'll be able to get them. The comp Oxycanta maybe beatless enough for you, the beats are all very subtle & is still available at Ultimae
  6. Visuals like you got at really early goa parties! Simple yet very trippy! I like them, it's cool. I had the original Dragonfly release but got this re-release for the DVD. Love that Mix and I'm not usually a fan of Goa mixes as I like to hear the full tracks. The samples really do not do it justice! The record label in your signature! The one you have T-Shirts of アリゼン = ARIZEN
  7. Every track on Paul Oakenfold's A Voyage Into Trance, on Dragonfly
  8. Damn! But Hey, I don't have a CD writer Planning on getting a new laptop soon either one with a CD/DVD writer or one without but I'd get an external one. Always better safe than sorry! But laziness pays off now
  9. Cool! Cheers for the advice, I seem to have completely missed the debate about these & only ever heard, CDr :pissed: etc
  10. How about if it was a legally purchased mp3? Was it Radi? Was it?
  11. Any sample can sound good if used well. Original samples would be nice. I have no problem with the samples being indian or anything but the same tired samples just plastered into tracks is a bit annoying. Music to avoid IMO
  12. Yeah, it's all very painless. Nice easy communication with Anthony over there & they accept paypal. I struggle to tell the difference (in sound quality) between these CDrs & pressed CDs. So I'm happy
  13. Tracklist looks bloody good So is this going for a mainstream audience like the blurb said? Are they trying to break into a bigger market? Good luck to them as long as the music doesn't suffer
  14. I also thought the deadline was the end of march. But at least my list is a reflection of how I felt at the time. I'm sure it will change & I will discover even better music from last year but we can't leave the voting over forever can we?
  15. I think so as I love the music. 2 were free! 1 free because my last order was big enough but I was too slow in replying to which one I wanted. The other was free due to the large size of this order Altogether it came to about $125 inc P&P
  16. Glad you like 'em I just ordered a shitload more (DataObscura though) I really liked these 2! Very nice collections. If you are a fan of Gus' work I'm sure you'll be happy with those two. @Tatsu nice bulk buy
  17. I have only hear police sirens in Mos 6581 & it is fantastic
  18. Still love the Music! Discovering more ambient recently but goa still has a special place & always will.
  19. On a pissed off rainy day I needed some chilled out wetness to soothe my mind. A wet mix for a wet day! Let the worries of the day just trickle away with this one. Sounds of the stream, the ocean or just pouring rain throughout Tracklist 1. Sync24 - Walk On Spheres 2. Solar Fields - Combinations 3. The Circular Ruins - Standing On Violent Golds 4. False Mirror - Plato's Last Dream 5. Cymphonic - River Styx 6. Krill.Minima - Submarine Poetry 7. Evan Bartholomew - Elusive & Effervescent Is Our Destination 8.
