I find electronic remixes of old tracks (pop or rock) almost always sound shit to my ears

I had a look on amazon, some of the older albums look expensive Which would you recommend getting?

The Bamboo Forest one was a remix? Oh? I thought it was just a blatant rip off Seriously it was pure shite like most of that album
