I'm with you in hoping this is a new direction for solar fields. A little bit more upbeat album would definately be welcome. I have all 4 albums & they are ultra chilled beauties but something different would be welcome

Better than this? Slinky Wizard - Shitty Stick (better than a poke in the eye with a) a Shitty Stick is a stick covered in shit. To be poked in the eye with a stick covered in shit is really bad! Something can be really really bad but still be better than a poke in the eye with a shitty stick. This track is much much much better than a poke in the eye with a shitty stick!

Just because they are your good friends, doesn't mean they are not stupid! 1. Crap Name 2. Selves on cover not good selling points in the underground scene. If they are going for underground then they got it all worng. Not stupid. But not smart either!

Chilled sirens fit perfectly into this racehorse of a track

This is definately worth getting. Maybe not worth paying a shite load for it's very enjoyable IMO Got under my skin right away. Not in the usual way psy does but in a very different but still very psychedelic way! All the way through this album does something I can't quite describe that keeps me interested & brings me back to it again and again!

This album is undoubted brilliance but it is amood album & the mood has to be right for me to fully appreciate that brilliance! That has happened on a number of occasions with this album, always at night, always looking at a city landscape! Don't know why but that's me! Reccomended but stick with it if you don't initially love it

I bought this, listened to it a few times, was dissapointed & then I let it sit on my shelf! It really is probably time to dust this one off & give it another listen. It has a high chance of a delayed wow factor I'm sure.

Abakus is one talented son of a gun as this album testifies! Whatever his new style is I'm sure it'll be top drawer in that genre I like break beat so I'm looking forward to it

This is definately an album that I would like to listen to more! It's quality through & through, all tracks are great & it works really well as an album but.... it just doesn't make it to my CD player that often. I don't know what's missing, maybe it just needs that one time when I'll be in the right frame of mind to appreciate it fully then I'll adore it for evermore.

Got this today & I am just finishing my second listen with headphones. I was wary of all the hype around this but being the curious orange that I once was I bought this knowing it was never going to be bad! I was not expecting it to be this good though, I mean oh my god this is creamingly good! All tracks have that special feel & IMO the Aerosis tracks is one of the best here A special mention must go to the last track by Ra, absolute brilliance, I love it! I spent time buying this today that I should have been at work & therefore had to stay late to finish up but it was all worth it when I put this beauty on! Top marks now lets see how it fares being played constantly for a few months
