Although I like ... most of these tracks I think I would find this quite a boring compilation as a lot of the tracks are too similar. A compilation needs to change, to progress as it goes to keep my interest.

Abakus - That Much Closer to the Sun What kind of music is it? It's the chilled out essence of summer compressed into CD form! Abakus managed to take the beach, the sea, girls in bikinis, bbqs, driving with the top down, early morning dew, late evening walks through the park, sitting outside the pub all all those summer activities & put them into music

It might! It might change what you like. I was never much of a fullon fan but after going to some fullon parties not filled with pilled up teenage wankers I found that on the right dancefloor & with the right artist/DJ/Label, fullon can sound very good indeed. It's just finding the right music. The right memories & feelings

If he does I am prepared for it not be as good as that much closer to the sun. It will be very difficult for him to match the quality of this release but even something half as good would be a great album IMO
