  1. Pete Namlook & Mixmaster Morris - Hymn
  2. I'll join you. Really need the money
  3. Vux - 13 Floor Spectrum
  4. Subgardens – Listen To The Flowers Grow (Aes Dana Remix) on Ultimae's Oxycanta compilation. Many great ambient tracks go unnoticed as they are always part of a greater journey. But I love this track, it's a standout track on a great compilation. U-Recken - Plastic being full on then it doesn't get as much attention as it should. I very nice melodius track with a beautiful piano in it All tracks from Jikkenteki - The Long Walk Home are definately worth checking out but the really, really awesome tracks from the album are Stepping Forward, Ambiguity, An Angel Takes Flight, Chasing Raindrops & Warmth in Cold Places I really think these have been overlooked by many.
  5. I bought this a while ago & it's one of my favourites of the year. I don't usually go in for the cheesy full on stuff but this is so well presented that I find myself listening to it over and over again. I like the melodies & the piano in plastic is very nice. Stand out track though is the downtempo track at the end which I've been loving since I heard it on Downbeat Liquid vol 1. I bought tthis album on the strength of that track & while it was not what I was expecting I definately wasn't dissapointed.
  6. Not the best in the series but it's a damn fine release. Some beautiful tracks all with a nice dreamy floaty atmosphere. Irukandji - Whales Street is one of my favourites, subtle whale sounds actually fit in well. Cell - Erasing Pluto, H.U.V.A Network - Orientations, Aes Dana - Bam, Solar Fields - Levitate, well everything from these guys is gold and they don't lets us down on this comp either some excellent relaxing vibes come your way even if they don't completely stun you. Scann-Tek - ASD, Sundial - Together we are... [scann-tec rmx]. This comp was the 1st I've heard from sundial or scann-tec but on the strength of the tracks here I'll be keeping an eye out for more stuff. Hol Baumann - Radio Bombay, this guy seems to be on every ultimae comp & rightly so. I'd like to see an artist album from this guy
  7. Pete Namlook - Hymn Ambient A 28 minute track that never gets boring even though it repeats the same few bars all the way through. The slight variations all the way through and the atmosphere of the track is so dream-like that I usually get dissapointed when the track is over. People should definately check this out on the dreamfish CD.
  8. Ultimae is fast becoming a label I will buy blindly from. Everything they have released so far I have Loved
  9. Overrated! I like twisted but it definately gets more kudos than it's worth.
  10. Solar Fields - Electric Fluid
  11. I went to see the scratch perverts once, they were pretty damn good turntablists. They didn't just play other people's music they created there own music from others'
  12. That's a good track but I prefer Shpongleyes on that album! Better beats & sounds, not quite as cheesy! np Orbital - Diversions
  13. I quite liked this one but I must admit I don't find myself coming back to it very often
  14. She's called DJ K.I.T.T.Y.
  15. I have only listened to it once so far! It's pretty nice but it is kind of minimal and stuff didn't instantly stand out. Still some very nice sounds & I get the feeling it's one of those albums for a dark room with no interference.
  16. I bet when it comes out the artwork is nothing special!
  17. Awesome albums. I discovered Union Jack through the 1st one. I've seen Carl Cox play live and it was fantastic! Never seen Simon play live but I heard his set at the DNA lounge on MP3. Great music but average - good mixing skills I thought but what do I know? I'm a crap DJ
  18. Me too! I heard he was going to be releasing 2 albums soon. One upbeat & one downbeat. I was listening to his track sweet tooth on Butterfly Dawn & it's fantastic! Can't wait for some more chill stuff from this guy.
  19. I'm listening to U-Recken - Aquatic Serenade It's full on but it's pretty good. It is a little bit cheesy but it's a good cheese, more likely to bring a smile than to have you shaking your head. It has lots of energy & psychedelic sounds. Definately one of my favourite full on albums.
  20. That is sad but will he continue making music under a different name?
  21. I hope so. Some really good psychedelia came from these guys. I just hope talpa's new doesn't have sample heavy tracks again.
  22. Cool! Enjoy your mixing. I wish I had space for decks I used to love creating my own mixes even when they weren't very good.
