I notice that after every single one of your posts we have to see a picture of your lame mountains. Every single post!! Does EVERY post have to have a mountain picture??? I like the covers shown in this thread. Just because you don't know what the cover of your music looks like as you're obviously listening to downloads all the time.
Now listening to Tripswitch - Cumulus from the Varja compilation.
"The legendary techno-trance god EAT STATIC will release their next album from SOLSTICE MUSIC in autumn, don't miss their live show at SMF 2006!"
Oh my god I think I creamed my pants.
Even eat static's dissapointing tunes are great IMO
Which albums (or compilations) do you think tell the best story. Which are the best arranged albums. Where all the tracks are in the right place to make the album progress like a story. Not just a collection of tracks thrown together in any order with an ambient track at the end.
My favourite story telling pieces are
The Mystery of the Yeti I & II
Shpongle - Are you Shpongled?
Union Jack - No Armageddon
Banco De Gaia - Last Train to Lhasa
Jikkenteki - The Long Walk Home
The Muses Rapt - Spiritual Healing
Shulman - Soundscapes & Modern Tales
These all talk to me
Not all stories I can hear straight away but need a few listens for me to understand.
I really like this album
Very nice and melodius.
My favourite is the 1st track. I first heard it on the soundtrack to the warp experience & I had to get this album.
I can see how some people might find it cheesy but it's good cheesy not cheesy cheesy.
