  1. Moshic - Salamat It has a very nice downbeat CD. And the progressive house on CD1 is pretty good too. To be honest sounds just like progressive Trance to my ears.
  2. I think M-Sphere - Electronic Relaxation is one of the darkest albums I've heard. Not evil dark but very sad! I usually find though that chill out does a better job of being dark than faster music. I don't know that much really dark chill out though. Does anyone else?
  3. You can sell out to different degrees. Making music just for sales, be it millions or not is selling out IMO. Feel like a lot of the old school artists who have changed to this new fullon style are doing so just to crack a bigger market (eben if that bigger market isn't HUGE). I brought up American Idol not as a reference to the artist but the fans of this fullon. They are just like Pop Idol fans who want repetitive music where every album sounds the same. For me MOST fullon sounds very generic. I actually though this album was better than average for modern fullon but still quite dull and uninspiring
  4. Ishq Elve Early Orb stuff Dreamfish (on Fax) Gus Till - Electric Oceans The Mystery of the Yeti 1 & 2 (Ultimae Records) Some of these will have samples at psyshop or saiko sounds
  5. Maybe not but it will probably sell drastically more than a new album in the old style. Wow. What a picture. If you thought that picture was indicitive of great music you should definately buy this album. For everyone else. LOOK at the guitar
  6. But now you can have fun discovering all the old stuff you didn't hear in the peak.
  7. I'm sure some of those guys have quite impressive tits
  8. I haven't heard Magick Square but this is a very nice organic piece of chill. Sounds like nature with lots of soft bird song. It is very very downtempo though so some will find it boring. Definately music to listen to alone in a dark room. np. Oxycanta again
  9. Pete Namlook and Richie Hawtin - From Within 2 np: Do Bassdrums Have Feelings
  10. Pete Namlook + Richie Hawtin - From Within 2 Move D / Pete Namlook - Let The Circle Not Be Broken A Namlook day
  11. Dug out this Didn't get into it when I first bought it but I am really enjoying it this time round
  12. Bought this today. It's sounding very nice so far.
  13. I really enjoyed this album. Vary varied so it sounds interseting all the way through and on repeated listens (so far). I particularly like I wanna be a Robostar. Very cool and at the end they use a great telephone sample. It sounds like a Japanese customer service representative explaining to Jason what he must do. Customer service in Japan although often real people can sound very robotic when they stick to their Script! Anyway cool album. Not sure about the cover or the pictures of the artists inside though
  14. I don't know what people are going on about when they something sounds dated! ??! This sounds like it was made in the early 90's. Why is that a bad thing? Early 90's trance was fucking ace!! Well Wasn't it??
  15. I would say Androcell was anything but generic. I don't have anything else that sounds like androcell. You might not like it but it's definately not generic.
  16. The ever present and tantalising call of money. I watched American Idol last night and the big record boss came out to thank the public for helping their first winners first album to sell 10 million copies 10 MILLION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bland copies of other stuff that is popular sells very well in our 'tell me what to do' world. I can't blame Boris. Money is nice, but he has sold out!
