Got this a few days ago and I'given it a few listens. It's nice and Dark. It's all very similar so a lot of people will probably say it's boring or repetive but it's all slightly varied enough to sounds like one long masterpiece of a track. I LIKE!!

Deviant Species - Hatch Great Stuff

Not sure what a fairytale is supposed to sound like to be honest. Some tracks from Infected Mushroom's Classical mushroom Eg/ Oracul (my prince is dead....) and Shen remind me of dark parts of fairytales but nothing else springs to mind.

I always liked minimal. Everyone bashed it for quite a while & I always thought it was because noone could be bothered to listen to it properly. It was really intelligent music that all sounded the same if you had it on in the background but if you allow yourself to properly listen to it it creates amazing atmospheres and soundscapes that can take a non drug fueled mind to different levels. I'm not sure about fullon because I haven't listened to much of it. It is very popular though and so of course there is going to be a lot of shit, that's always the way with the most popular genres. I have heard some decent fullon music though. If it's done well it can be good. People shouldn't bash things without actually listening to them. I always thought that minimal psytrance evolved into the progressive psytrance. Progressive has a little more substance but is just as intelligent and well layered. also people who don't listen to it properly find it boring.

I got this in the post today and it's good. Some tracks are very good. It's maybe not the best compilation ever but it's one of the best I've heard this year and it's definately the best release from TIP in a good long while. Probably since the amazing Crystal Skulls albums. I have to say though that I was not impressed with the Hallucinogen track on 1st listen. After one listen to the CD I would say the hallucinogen track is by far the weakest on it

Maybe it's your friends. Most of my friends, while not into psy have good taste in music and enjoy quality. Therefore they can listen to and enjoy the psy and chill I make them listen to and even comment on how good it is, asking for recommendations. It sounds like your friends have crappy taste and you're not going to find much that'll please them. Perhaps you could do a psy remix of britney spears and they might like that

I used to be more varied and I would listen to rock and hip hop, blues, jazz and even a bit of pop. But over the last few years I only intentionally listen to Psy Trance - 55% Chillout - 40% Classical - 5% They are the only genres I really want to listen to

I'm listening to Lucas Presents - God Save the Machine. Quite good so far

Before people were talking about how most people don't write reviews of albums they thought were bad. Because it's difficult and boring to sit a listen to that piece of shit. Has anyone read psyreviews recently though? Here was one of the best reviews of an unenjoyed CD I've read. It's of Various - The Next Generation I liked the comedic writing style of how awful it was and it's just as informative as a good review I'm Not buying this.

Jaia - Blue Energy now playing Mai Mai One of the best Tracks ever in my opinion, I never stopped listening to this Gem

Juno Reactor - Transmissions Just finishing off with Landing! Some nice tracks on this album. I like High Energy Protons the most though!!!
