  1. I think it was made pretty clear that this was about money. Kids need money to be spent on them so they survive. Congrats on the Kid!!

    Help!

I remember the prana track - taiyo on the cyclone album and the chakra remix on geomantik. That seems to have some japanese vocals but I can't quite make them out.

    Help!

You are the Sun You are the light. very nice vocals. Also check out some of the vocals on some of Zen Lemonade's tracks.
  4. Does he think his longer tracks (12 minutes plus) are better than his shorter ones (6 or 7 minutes)? How does he come up wit track names like (a piece of forgotten song drifting across the water) ?
  5. X-Dream I think X-Dream has been consistently good through varying styles. Astral has kept the same(ish) style and it hasn't aged well. There 1st few albums were great but the last few have been......not!
  6. Jikkenteki - Slippery Slopes from A walk through Neptune's Garden Very good stuff!!!!
  7. Cool! I'll be looking forward to that album
  8. I don't actually have all the x-dream albums but I will for those tracks that I already have.
  9. X-Dream - Best of 1991 - 2001 Going on vacation and I'll be taking this with me. Hope It's one That keeps on giving!!!

  12. I wish I'd bought this CD. I bought the cassette tape, which is awsome but is holding up to well after all the listens it has gone through. Prepare your spirit is great stuff.

    Dreamfish

Got this the other day. It's my first by Namlook or from Fax. I read a few of astro's reviews and I was curious. I picked up the Avatar version pretty cheap and I'm very glad I did. Each track is really good but the 1st two manage to stand out even more. I love Hymn so much. For a track that is close to 30 minutes to never get boring and actually make you fell a little dissapointed when it finishes is a true feat. I know that I'll be playing this a lot in the coming months. It's really good. The only thing now is to buy more music like this. I looked on ebay and it all looked a bit pricey. Any more been re-released?
  14. Yes I am. The 1st 2 tracks on dreamfish are nothing short of masterpieces. I'd like more but don't know where to buy.
  15. Vocal samples can be allright but as someone said above, like singing the can quickly get tiresome. I like vocals in tracks that I can't understand. ie singing in languages I don't speak (many!) and vocals that don't say anything are great. The human voice can be used well as in instrument but when I understand the words it can become annoying very quickly.
  16. Dub Trees - Nature never did betray the heart that loved her.
  17. There were some horrible cheesy lyrics in Bamboo Forest - Revival. In the new western rebel alliance album there are lots of lyrics and while they are okay, I'd rather not have them. This is not a singing genre, I agree but occassionally some decent lyrics surprise you.
  18. Ask him who he thinks the worst psy act is!
