Radi, I used to do all that stuff you're suggesting, but life has a habit of catching up with you. I'm far too busy at work to have the energy to write a decent review any more, I don't even accept promos anymore as I just don't have the gumption to write. Maybe one day it'll come back but I am exhausted from problems at work and in life to do it all. I'm sure a lot of people are the same. It sounds like you are in a stage where you want to get things done, that's great, go out there and do them but don't come round and tell people who have done more for the scene than you are ever likely to do that they are not doing enough to turn psy into pop. Well, the Euros' group stage isn't like the world cup groups stage. There pretty much are no fillers here except for maybe the hosts. All groups look difficult with B & C being arguably harder than A & D but I wouldn't bet any large sum of money on the outcome of any of these groups: the beauty of the Euros IMO

Most of what you've mentioned I think is pure shite. Apart from Rammstein who are in the few percent of talented artists that get famous most of the big sellers are IMO complete crap that I would never want to support....although often very pretty. How many of our goa stars look good strutting their stuff on stage?

I generally find ambient to be more psychedelic as it's usually more of a journey. Saying that though there are some albums that are psychedelic as shit! Single tracks for me are rarely as psychedelic as a well crafted synergic album. Some examples in psy are: Deviant Species - In The Hands Of The Randomiser Blue Planet Corporation - Blue Planet Eat Static - Prepare Your Spirit Jikkenteki - The Long Walk Home KURO - Revolution Scorb - Scorb But you need to listen to the full album to truly appreciate them. One track will be great but can't compare to the psychedelic feelings from going the distance. I for one always listen to full albums when possible as random tracks never gives me the full experience.

If artists want to sell more, then they need to make their music more accessible to more people. This usually goes the way of dumbing it down as it were and the likes of us music snobs would no longer like it. What you are proposing Radi could be the end of the scene so I'd rather it didn't get too big. You can do the little things to promote stuff you like though. You could start by fixing the dead link in your signature to something that is still alive and could do with people clicking on it.

I've been learning excel by trial and error while trying to make a fairly complicated spreadsheet for work. I think most people do this anyway. The main problem is that most people don't actually like the music and don't follow the link or do follow it but don't like what they hear. "I can't enjoy a song if there's no lyrics" Most times I post a track on facebook that I am particularly wanting to share, it gets no attention at all except for a few psyheads that already knew it. I guess you're lucky enough to have never come across the proper nut bag fundamentalists. Some of them would put these guys to shame with the shit they say and think. I spent some time looking through that site and I just can't tell if these people are serious fundies or just have far too much time on their hands in creating a parody site. The scary thing is, real fundies usually are less reasonable than a parody trying its best to make them look unreasonable.
