    EURO 2016

I don't like Portugal, too many players I'd readily describe as being a dick. Ronaldo might be a great player but he can't be such a little bitch too. Belgium looked good, Germany too: easily carving through the defence England couldn't unlock. England okay Iceland tonight in a game they really should win but while I think England could beat anyone, I think they could be beaten by anyone too. No consistency, and it looks like they'll start with Raheem Sterling who has been like a rabbit in headlights this tournament, looks totally out of his depth and can't see why he'd be keeping Vardy and Llanna out if the team. I can see Iceland frustrating England, taking it to penalties where England will inevitably lose. Italy vs Spain as well. It's so hard to predict an Italy result. They are the epitome of the team who can really beat anyone or be beaten by anyone. They're my second team so I'm going for Italy one-nil
  2. Interesting post I read on the Guardian website If Boris Johnson looked downbeat yesterday, that is because he realises that he has lost. Perhaps many Brexiters do not realise it yet, but they have actually lost, and it is all down to one man: David Cameron. With one fell swoop yesterday at 9:15 am, Cameron effectively annulled the referendum result, and simultaneously destroyed the political careers of Boris Johnson, Michael Gove and leading Brexiters who cost him so much anguish, not to mention his premiership. How? Throughout the campaign, Cameron had repeatedly said that a vote for leave would lead to triggering Article 50 straight away. Whether implicitly or explicitly, the image was clear: he would be giving that notice under Article 50 the morning after a vote to leave. Whether that was scaremongering or not is a bit moot now but, in the midst of the sentimental nautical references of his speech yesterday, he quietly abandoned that position and handed the responsibility over to his successor. And as the day wore on, the enormity of that step started to sink in: the markets, Sterling, Scotland, the Irish border, the Gibraltar border, the frontier at Calais, the need to continue compliance with all EU regulations for a free market, re-issuing passports, Brits abroad, EU citizens in Britain, the mountain of legistlation to be torn up and rewritten ... the list grew and grew. The referendum result is not binding. It is advisory. Parliament is not bound to commit itself in that same direction. The Conservative party election that Cameron triggered will now have one question looming over it: will you, if elected as party leader, trigger the notice under Article 50? Who will want to have the responsibility of all those ramifications and consequences on his/her head and shoulders? Boris Johnson knew this yesterday, when he emerged subdued from his home and was even more subdued at the press conference. He has been out-maneouvered and check-mated. If he runs for leadership of the party, and then fails to follow through on triggering Article 50, then he is finished. If he does not run and effectively abandons the field, then he is finished. If he runs, wins and pulls the UK out of the EU, then it will all be over - Scotland will break away, there will be upheaval in Ireland, a recession ... broken trade agreements. Then he is also finished. Boris Johnson knows all of this. When he acts like the dumb blond it is just that: an act. The Brexit leaders now have a result that they cannot use. For them, leadership of the Tory party has become a poison chalice. When Boris Johnson said there was no need to trigger Article 50 straight away, what he really meant to say was "never". When Michael Gove went on and on about "informal negotiations" ... why? why not the formal ones straight away? ... he also meant not triggering the formal departure. They both know what a formal demarche would mean: an irreversible step that neither of them is prepared to take. All that remains is for someone to have the guts to stand up and say that Brexit is unachievable in reality without an enormous amount of pain and destruction, that cannot be borne. And David Cameron has put the onus of making that statement on the heads of the people who led the Brexit campaign.
  3. There are reports of idiots in Britain telling Indians and Pakistanis to get out now they have to Just goes to show how stupid these people are. What the hell would the EU have to do with immigrants from outside the EU? Smh
  4. There's a tiny chance of a second referendum but if the people who wanted to stay couldn't be bothered to vote the first time, they don't really deserve a second chance. What we really need is for the queen to step in and say (read it in her voice) "you're a bunch of cretins, I must overturn this fucktardery" Neither is likely though.

    EURO 2016

Wow, the Croatia vs Portugal game was utter shite. If only they could have both lost Would have preferred Croatia to win it because Portugal have been poor in every game so far.
  9. Ah, come on that's a bit harsh. He's just a sad little wanker sat at his PC all day with a couple of fingers up his arse, hating how good it feels, trying to take it out on an uncaring internet and getting frustrated when people don't take him seriously. He probably needs a mental health specialist to pop round and see if he's okay rather than someone to beat him up.

    EURO 2016

The British tabloids will be itching to see England lose do they can use headlines like out if Europe now out of Europe. I hate our media.
  11. Yeah, but it would serve us right for being such dicks in the first place. Oh well, I'm off to apply for my Irish passport so I can be European again. Seriously, wtf Britain? Why the hell would people not want to be a European citizen? Oh yeah, you're backwards xenophobic phucks!!!

    EURO 2016

Finally, the knockouts! Teams are more likely to go for it and give us some good games. Portugal are still get to win a game right? Maybe this team is too heavy for Ronaldo to carry, or maybe he'll magic up something
  13. I liked this, but it wasn't as good as circuit breaker
  14. It's also a big shame the government decided against lowering the voting age because it would have been too expensive. I think the majority of 16 & 17 year olds would have voted to stay. I just hope when the old racists who voted to leave finally die, the country will be afforded the chance to rejoin (assuming that things do in fact decline in Britain)
  15. Oh I understand that. The shame I feel bring British and knowing that most people voted for foreigners to get out is unbelievable. I also no longer plan on going back if I don't have to.
  16. Wow, these are really good. I like that you've nor gone overboard with the psychedelic, it's a lot more subtle (without really bring subtle) than a lot of psychedelic clothing. It's really cool. I'll take a longer look when I get to work
  17. Are you novoice? I agree with almost all of these but can be partial to a good sample
  18. I just saw that the pound has dropped twenty yen in the last 2 days If I can wait until it bottoms out, I'll buy all the Ishq CDs/downloads on bandcamp
  19. Are you British and don't want to live with such fucktardery or from elsewhere in Europe thinking you'll be deported? I very much doubt anyone will be deported. First it will take at least two years to pull out of Europe and even then, immigrant workers aren't just going to be told to leave, you will probably just need to get a simple work visa. For those that voted leave, I see a frustrating decade ahead where none of what they wanted comes to pass (getting rid of immigrants and refugees) but salaries go down and taxes go up.
  20. I've not heard the term popsa before but from above it sounds like that manufactured pop sound like those guys that win the TV contest. I can't see Infected Mushroom as this. Like them or not, they are their own musicians and don't play pop(sa)
  21. The financial implications for Brits are not yet clear, but the most positive outlook seems to be that people won't suffer too much. It'll be irritating listening to Leave voters complaining about higher taxes etc brought in as a consequence of leaving the EU
  22. For people who claim it's the second golden age, do you feel more of the number of quality releases or the size of the scene?
  23. Sync24 is half of CBL which is why it sounds similar. For me Sync24 is smoother, more laid back than CBL
  24. Ah, the wife vs the spending My wife doesn't understand spending money on "music that all sounds the same" that's why she can't buy (spend my money) on pop shit anymore This has to go on my next month's list though as I've already had too many separate packages arrive this month
