  1. Nothing really compares however when I think of MOTY I also think of the following as having similar ambient journey qualities; The Infinity Project - Mystical Experiences Adham Shaikh - Journey To The Sun Biosphere - Substrata Dub Trees - Nature Never Did Betray The Heart That Loved Her The Kumba Mela Experiment - East Of The River Ganges

  5. Discogs doesn't allow hotlinking so I doubt anyone can see your covers(?)! Try using a proxy like photbucket. That Vinyl cover of AYS looks well nice I am jealous.
  6. Yeah since going to his album launch party I have been eager to get his new album as it sounded so good on the dancefloor and I wasn't off my tits so it might sound good off the dancefloor too
  7. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kwqgDH99ik0 Phreaky - Over The Moon @ 8:06 the melody is just pure joy

  9. Just one more Yagya - Rigning rain really is an awesome theme
  10. Minimal as in the stuff that was progressive before all the cheesy head candi shite got pumped into it
  11. Green Nuns on Ice came out a while back. It was pleasant enough without being mind-blowing but hey, I thought that about most of my most beloved albums when I first heard them
  12. The 13 Crystal Skulls 2 compilations full of really amazing themed psytrance Atrium Carceri - Seishinbyouin ambient in a mental institution, all his albums are themed and great but this is the best for me The Circular Ruins - Falling Into The Sky Ambient themed on the reversal of nature and opposites Eat Static - Prepare Your Spirit 50's B movie sci-fi themed stuff Principles Of Flight - Night Time Lullabies & Chaos Opera even comes with a story Secede - Tryshasla brilliant story into the afterlife The Mystery Of The Yeti 1 & 2 I love the mountainous/mystical themes there are many more, too many to think of at this late hour
  13. You never know, maybe they'll surprise us.....I mean in a good way not an Infected Mushroom way
  14. I am thinking of laying down some hard cash for some old Tetsu Inoue releases. Still umming and ahhing about them
  15. You only discovered this recently? Wow! I am envious of you, I'd love to discover some new amzing old stuff but alas it has been a long time since I discovered some amazing old trance. My most recent was http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=CESrlaxJQ6g&feature=related and that was like 5 years ago, I remember as I was with my ex-girlfriend at the time when I bought Destination Goa 1. So long with no surprise Goa
  16. A set I played before I went to England and ended up listening to many times
  17. You can still do the hunting if you don't mind being disappointed more often than not. I still go to used record stores and go through the whole "techno" section as well as world, dance, electronica and post rock and usually nothing pops up but occasionally you will see some utterly amazing classic for less than $1 and it makes up for all those times you were disappointed. Most recently I found Tetsu Inoue - Ambiant Otaku on Fax for about $2 when it sells for around $100 sometimes
  18. Yeah, I have seen a lot of people play, I have done it in many different states but I never thought I could here something so amazing and be sober (well a little drunk but no hallucinogens or club drugs) but feel like I had taken so many drugs. Maybe it was the music, maybe it was the club (it wasn't as the next night wasn't nearly as good) or a combination of the two. I only own 1 Anthony Rother CD and that is Magic Diner and as I mentioned before is ambient. Since I got back to Japan I have been listening to that again and it is really good. I need to get some more of his upbeat stuff. The party I went to was apparently his release party for Popkillers II so I think I will look into that in the near future
  19. Great news! To be honest this is the only Psy I am really looking to buy
