  5. Had no idea that he had released an album, not to say two... I only knew Ancient Sky which was released on Sun Trip 4 http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=H-ruoZBMYS8 they seem quite rare though
  6. Michael Stearns - Planetary Unfolding (1981) amazing album!

  8. Classic track it has that distinct raw old school sound. a solid 7.5/10 let's try a new ECT track (ECT – Squawk (Slight Return)) http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=NPKH3E5mmKA
  9. same place I found this awesome site/blog called http://butdoesitfloat.com/ more specific http://butdoesitfloat.com/It-is-easy-to-imagine-fantasy-as-physical-and-myth-as-real-We-do-it
  10. Well after meeting quite a few Finish people it does not surprise me that much (meant in a good way). At least I have gotten the feeling of a tendency not to follow the norm which is quite deeply rooted in the culture (or something like that?!), or said in another way; things are done quite different from the European/continental norm, which I find refreshing
  11. The describtion is sort of weird, and I am not really sure to call what I am looking for, but here is a couple of examples: Patrick Pulsinger - Construction Tool Adam Beyer - Konflict Adam Beyer - China Girl
  12. Yeah I don't know what they them-self called it back then, my old raver-friend Karsten ("known" for inventing obscure sub-genre names) would probably have called it nut-house goa... but I guess it was just experimental goa/trance?! Just different from the norm in any case I remember the first time I heard Shaolin Wooden Men - Remember The Slime when I got Pulse 5... I was blown away!
  13. Good to see you Joseph I hope you are doing good and that work is not killing you! np:
  14. Well it's definitely a pre-courser if you will, if you listen to their album (same goes to Shaolin Wooden Men) and know your Suomisoundi you can hear the sonic link
  15. some of the founders/pioneers of the Finnish sound aka Suomisoundi are actually Australian; examples: Shaolin Wooden Men - Shaolin Wooden Men (1994) (Ollie Olsen) http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=I_dekMu6BZs Psyko Disko - Psycho Disco (1996) http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=wXAgkPMiZ5w Another pioneering group that should be mentioned is Squaremeat considing of both Francoise Faggott and Pepe Kosminen (Suomi legends) First album release: Squarebeat http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=eg-mV080wsM
  16. Chynacid - Tianlong The intro is nice, though I feel like it has been made before (or something quite similar), decent track but gets a bit repetitive, but interesting 6.75/10
  17. Played it yesterday, there was a promotion to play it for free this weekend on steam... not bad, reminds me quite a bit of Imperium Galactica. Nice and chilled game-play (turn based) and a huge tech-tree I just purchased it as well, so I can give some more feedback when I have play it a bit more.
  18. quite surprised to hear such a nice track "from" Ace Ventura, but of course it is a remix of an already sweet track but it was released in 2011!
