  1. I'm sure it does... I will try and ask my room-mate he used to dj that kind of style of swinning housey stuff I guess... here is another... well kind of Herbie Hancock'sh
  2. Hello and welcome tulpa, and sure you can give back stuff back already you might know but there is the "other electronica" sub-forum, so if you are a techno-head then you can share you knowledge there
  3. and then he made this one... quite silly but also swinging http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=crET1mVYW88 "non-psy" yet a bit trippy, could fit into the mix you posted http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=acxsuyPSDg8
  4. Procs - Now and Then (last track on VA - Gungfly) and http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=av4IfOhbsDg and a little bit http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=nPTUUPBsSrE
  5. It was other people who posted the tracks... check again
  6. see.. it's working already! And it's a fruit-fly btw... and reflection is not about intelligence... not at all!
  7. not after 2nd world war I guess...
  8. Double Dragons followed by Born Again and I guess he mostly makes chill-out these days?! Or at least he did a couple of years back.
  9. and btw I believe that Tim Schuldt is not that known for his contributions to acid goa (though he made a few good ones) but more the darker/eerie more industrial sound that he developed.
  10. Well that track you just posted is not really a proper acid goa track is it... not compared to Karma 209. Do you know what acid trance is at all?! And yes I hear the acid elements, but that is found in most tracks of that period. In regard to what you find shit... that's up to you... I like Tim, like many others from that time. sorry couldn't resist myself http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=HK8a_K_U514&t=4m8s
  11. well... I guess so and I am not referring to a single post you made it's more a general observation in this thread. and you might not have noticed, but I tried to be sarcastic referring to your blatant mac "propaganda"...
  12. karma 209 these ones is also nice, not sure which one is my favourite though... leaning a bit towards Animatronic also, really nice old school vibe. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UQKZFP64Otk
  13. why doesn't that surprise me... ...and Procyon you seem like quite the blind mac loyalist to me... sorry, no personal pun intended, but I don't read much reflection in your post regarding your view on Apple products. I don't know if you are in defensive mode or what but it's hard not to think that. I have a few friends who were like that before whenever discussing mac products, but most of them have noticed the different shades of grey by now, the apple world is not perfect...
  14. No problems listening to the samples here (using firefox)... and they sound really promising!! Going to order right away! One thing though... why is InnerSpace (track 7) on there?! It has just been released on Shaltu, so seems more like a filler here (and a long one too).
  15. Ohh and you mean blind costumer loyalty?! But I think you are right, that is going to be the main reason it will sell. Btw that kind of poll is also pretty biased when you look at the price ranges that it covers, you would naturally expect a lower score for a company that covers lower entry models, which Apple doesn't... kind of pointless to be honest. same here... bad products really.. and shit batteries which was unchangeable!
  16. Drosophila

    Baraka

I have to go to Germany to see it... hopefully I will in the coming month.. Berlin here I come I can't wait!
  17. Woah.. this might be even better, powerful stuff! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2dknxXKrwas
  18. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=StI2ClaDpcw not sure how I could miss out on this gem before?!
  19. well real innovation in apple seemed to have stopped years back, now they are only improving on older models, but the new macbook pro is rather nice, except they have kept that ugly black plastic keyboard.
  20. Well it probably depend on what you look at, I am pretty sure you can find "Amish-type" religious groups in every major religion, like you can find terrorists who use religious arguments for their activities... so sorry I didn't elaborate on my point, but hopefully you get my point now?! And that said by no doubt Islam or a large portion of its followers have a major problem with their religious sensitivity in general, well at least if they have to integrate into a Western society.
  21. it's hardly a valid comparison... lol.. but I am pretty sure you can find Christian terror groups (http://en.wikipedia....stian_terrorism) It's all mixed together with social status, local customs, culture and so on (I am no expert either) but the common thing is to put some "divine" purpose to your actions that has no go in a rational world, and that is the main problem as I see it, that some people can act on a religious view only and totally close their eyes for all other in-puts. It's seriously fucked up.
