  1. Haha good point! Maybe that is also the reason they look so bored, well including the fact that they are playing for less than 50 people
  2. Nice one I am quite surprised how few people that are dancing/listing to their set.... I would have a expected a lot more!
  3. I too haven't followed K.U.R.O.'s techno output (would like to hear it though), but I love his early high speed rocket goa from the nineties. This is really a different cup of tea though, but a really tasty one! I can hear his love for relentless pounding techno, and then it's infused with huge load of grinding old-school intense goa/psy synth sounds (true TTT style), PERFECT and yes let's hope this leading to more like this from K.U.R.O.'s hand, an album would be awesome!
  4. Powerful release, hard to find any other releases like this, and it is a real grower, feels better and better for each listen. Some of it reminds me a bit of Krussedul and the Norwegian posy, but then again this is really different. Fantastic!
  5. I would definitely also go for Yagya - Rhythm of Snow (dub-tech/chill) Asura - Life^2 Aes Dana - Leylines and if you want some trippy old pioneer Aussie psy-trance you should also go for Shaolin Wooden Men - The Hungry Forest very unique release
  6. failing hardware sucks np: Radioactive Sandwich - Goat Herder
  7. This was on my table when I came home Thanks again for the tip DreamWalker! Well, the last part is better than the first, but I think it's mainly the Asura track that puts me of, not really my cup of tea. But my general impression after 1½ listen is good
  8. Ahhh.. hardly forest, well far from actually... reminds me more of the old darkish goa/psy, a track that springs to mind is Transwave - Quasar http-~~-//www.youtube.com/watch?v=TT6hdJopgN4
  9. No But I hadn't heard Atheus before, admittedly most dub tech I have is from various net labels.
  10. sounded really nice I couldn't resist and ordered one
  11. Here is a selection of new stuff (only 2009-10) that not already have been mentioned: Darth Phader - The TIE Fighter Of Love - 2010 http://www.ektoplazm...fighter-of-love Darth Phader - Iterated Fun'tion Systems (Antiscarp Records) - 2009 http://www.antiscarp...on_Systems.html VA - Hectic Dialect (Adama Rec) - 2009 Robomate - Skill Sampler (Antiscarp Records) - 2009 !!! Puoskari - Different Path (Faerie Dragon Records) - 2009 ( Ten-G - Draconic Sun (Adama Rec) - 2009 ) I realize I only have a very few rteleases from 10 and non from 11, wtf?! and on the "downbeat side" of things check out: Pekkanikkarinen - Uni (Freudian Slip Records & People Of The Butterflies) - 2010 http://www.ektoplazm...anikkarinen-uni (it has a few uptempo tracks on it though)
  12. Both for me... well dusk and dawn might actually be my favourite time, it's so elusive and mysterious and if the dj is able to able incorporate that in the set it's almost perfect
  13. Can NASA's Kepler Space Telescope Identify ET Astro-Engineering Artifacts?
  14. Sorry but that can never be a racist remark (if anything other than a joke it would be a false-accusation against an entire sub-genre), I mean it would be the first time that I would hear that link being postulated! It was a joke right?!
  15. I think that Visine has some valid point in that the discussion went personal and ridiculous (which he also contributed to himself). I don't find it tasteful for any forum-members to discuss like that (goes for both Visine and Rotwang), and yes especially a moderator of this site, so yes there are things that are worth criticism but hardly enough for someone to "re-sign" as a moderator, and same goes for warnings (none were giving). Of course if this becomes a repeating matter it might be a different matter (which I am sure it will not be), but we (the moderation team) have discussed the line before and believe there should be leg-room, since no one wants to run a terror regime But Visine if you don't see you own part in derailing the debate then I don't understand the real reason for posting this complain, I can understand that you feel that you lines were crossed, but usually it takes two to reach that state. And some points are definitively out of proportion (4), I saw no threats being made
  16. Nothing is impossible strictly "the best" might be difficult, I have also tried to incorporate which have meant the most to me (influenced ect.), makes it a bit easier for me for me
  17. Well I really like Goa trance (and other forms of old school psy-trance) and have from early on as well, but I still like (some) darkspsy and especially forest trance, some psychedelic progressive, Suomi Soundi, so on and so forth. I mean what you state is truly as generalizing as any thing you complain about (I didn't quote you here but I think you know what I mean). I guess what you try to say is that some "goa trance elitists" have the opinion that you describe, otherwise it is pretty much non-sense!?
  18. +1 and if you really want to have your drama in the open, there is thread to do this in: http://www.psynews.o...out-moderation/ Edit: were it has been moved to now.. please use this thread for moderation complains in the future.
  19. Just reserved my copy.. the samples sounds really nice! Very deep and trancy!
  20. I like the idea as well, the mask is sort of iconic in a weird way, but not 430£ of iconess worth, a 100-150 would be much better
  21. Yeah, it's really good! The whole Pink Floyd feel works really well!
