one essential compilation is missing: VA - People Walk Funny (2009)

I don't see the psy-trance scene being more "commercial" now compared to that of say 5-8 years ago (in general), but of course some artist producing psy-trance related music has become more "commercial", moving in new directions or how ever it happens and nothing new in that, and no harm in that either, each to their own! As for the scene in general the movement to the more "commercial" or "clubby" sound happened many years back, well in the bigging of the '00 if you ask me (not regarding the mid-90'ties as mentioned earlier which is a totally different discussion imo), but I would more call that for a division in the scene that once was to something new...some going more clubby while others were going the opposite direction.

A small question on the some of the economical aspects, does the limited amount of ads running on the site cover some of the basic expenses for server/traffic (or what ever it is called)?

A shop will always be biased, and not work as a proper forum, at least it should not be merged into one, no problem in having a shop and a forum on the side (different site and so on)... but a merge will be way to commercial and I think it will make people leave.

best: Transforming Reality most melodic: Frequency Evolution/Transforming Reality/Universal Language (well difficult to say really ) Glowing Flame is definitely one of my favourite psy-trance labels at the moment (a shame they are not well represented at festivals )... and Illusion of Time just perfect! If I was to take a picks (again) on their compilation I think I would get Imaginarity, The Well of Enhanced Sounds and Temple of One before Little Worlds, but others might disagree on that?!

Old but good Rotel RA-820BX4 amplifier, a Onkyo DX-7333 CD-player (very good value for money CD-player), Tannoy Fusion 1 speakers (good and cheap bookshelf speakers)... had this set-up for years and no complains Good for both "ambient" and psy-trance, very clear sound for all the details, and responsive in the mid-tones but bass is not heavy-duty... and when played very loud base will muddle... but never happens when I play When I get a place where I can play loud, I might want to get me some new equipment I have (need to fix the wire though, quite thin) AKG K518DJ headphones and was very surprised with the sound (with a price-tag of only 50E) and ability to keep out noise (or music when mixing), not bad at all. I also have Shure SE210 ear-plugs, really good sound, but has a bug with breaking wire isolation, had 3 new pairs before my warranty finished, now I use isolation tape
