Well I looked through my Procs tracks and only found one that was slightly in this "category" but luckily it has been re-released on a free compilation on Wonk#ay Records called Gnome Or War, find it in the download section on the page (a link more, happy now exotic ).

Glad u gyes like it I just downloaded the Trip for one of my friends and the track was the first one to play, hadn't noticed it my self before. I wondered into his myspace (link), lots of weird'ish downbeat, but one similar track Dark Moon, but still not the same, a lot more mellow @ Neuro-Insected-Forest trance but u'r probably right!! the only artist I can think that could have made something in this vain would Procs (as for this more or less conscious moment anyways), I will have to look into that:unsure:

...I just stumbled upon this when listing to my downloaded Audio Trips from Sanaton Records, and just can't seem to remember anything quite similar, the weird twisted forest sound, yet more subtle and less straight in your face. You can listen and/or download it from: http://www.sanatonrecords.com/ click on "Trips" in the top menu, and I am especially thinking of the track Inzect - Psy-Fi Scenario. Does anybody has any suggestions "where" to find something similar?!

Well u right.. of course, I didn't explain my point very well, and concerning "middle-eastern/Indian touch" I probably should have said scales or harmonies (what ever its called), since I believe it is one of the defining characters of goa trance, that separates it from other forms of trance. But of course this not the only thing that defines it, so mentioning here in this discussion might put my point out of focus.. but I definitely think there is a difference between old-school psychedelic trance and Goa trance. I mean not all trance made 94-97 was Goa and wasn't defined as such back then (if u where there:P).. but sorry I have no time to explain my views better now, drinking time Those AP tracks definitely have "middle-eastern harmonies"

As Antic also pointed out I know of no true goa tracks made by Koxbox, there are a few number boarderline tracks on Forever After (for example Point of No return, Tribal Oscillation), but these only use some elements, but the side-project Psychopod may have made more Goa tracks but still doesn't have that "middle-eastern/Indian touch", imo!

It seems you (topic starter.. who ever u really are ) just dont like old school psychedelic trance, so don't try to understand it... just leave it to other people. Stick to Goa... you keep comparing it as if it the same, maybe thats where the confusion of intelligence comes in...?! If u try to look at a certain object with a set frame of mind it can be very hard to observe what you actually are are looking at, well to put it simple: a biased mind sees only what it want to see!
