  1. Well I I just never found anything original or exiting in his first three albums (third one left me with no impression what so ever )... It seemed like I had heard it all before... but the new one is a totally different story, seems to me like he finally found his own sound.
  2. Did u try his latest album?! I really never got into his earlier stuff... indeed emotionless!
  3. OHHH a new glowing flame me like!
  4. dislike... errhmm maybe not, but I feel very indifferent about them: AMD Mantrix Tristan Zen Mechanics (Talamasca)
  5. Definitly one of the strongest, Pepe (and F. Faggott) are some of the strongest artists as well... you can't really go wrong! But I haven't heard Wave Soup before I got it and I was really surprise! I think Jungle Boogie contains a few tracks that are stronger than any on Wave Soup but overall I just like the sound on Wave Soup better, maybe I heard the other one too much can't get enough pussy aye?!
  6. Ok since joytron seem to ignore our correct answers I guess I will just pick up where we left 4 moths ago Name an album where an "earth hookah" is being smoked on the front cover...
  7. I love this album, just got a physical copy myself not long ago, together with Wave Soup, which actually impressed me even more!
  8. Well I guess we give it shit out of love Since I have used this page a lot (and still do) and there is no real alternative to what it has to offer... well not to my knowledge anyways! But the problem is that it feels really bad when u see "improvements" turn the site worse, and not just once but many times! Better to keep something that work instead of adding an infinite number of non-sense rules and I agree the suggestions in the search field (and google-style alternative spelling suggestions) have been positive improvements!
  9. I still love this album... I think it will grow old with beauty It's fantastic how has lots energy while still completely relaxed, and filed with emotions! :drama: btw the sample sounds nice
  10. So u say that all Suomi artist have taken the full-onish toad (except kiwa) Sorry but that doesn't really make sense to me, I presume you talk about the sub-genre full-on and not the describing term of full on (energetic)... I only have heard a few examples of this "trend" were the most pronounced would probably be Sienis - From A Nutter Perspective. I respect (of course) that you don't like "any" new suomi, but I don't understand your argument... please elaborate! Because I simply feel it is pretty mis-informative?! I mean fullon?! common!
  11. just got these: I guess I though it was time... and though I actually ordered merr0w.. but what the hell was probably gonna buy this one anyways
  12. oh my... what a lovely thread I totally agree with u exotic... this is true psychedelia I just got Squaremeat - Wave Soup... (from 2000) and seriously, its some of the best music I have heard for a long while! Could have been released yesterday! I praise this sub.genre
  13. I ended up choosing TIP... one decisive reason: Mystical Experiences if the choice had be based on "the Goa tracks" only, then my vote would have been on Slinky but it isn't and nothing really tops M.E. (imho)
  14. I would say early Austrian stuff like: Psyko Disko Shaolin Wooden Men and other psy-harmonic acts... and I thinks abasio is right.. it later evolved into Suomi Soundi with acts like Squaremeat and Texas Faggott... something like that anyways... ED: but as sub-group Experimental might be a silly name since a lot of artist/music pieces could be categorized as being experimental (luckily!!!!) forgot the question whats good Well try: Psyko Disko - Psycho Disco Psy-Harmonics Vol. 3 - Hacking The Reality Myth and for a particular track that I always loved: Shaolin Wooden Men - Remember The Slime
  15. Ohh well when talking about (truly) deep stuff... (also Danish) you should check out Psypox http://www.myspace.com/psypox some of the best "new" stuff connected to Zenon
  16. The Overlords - Sundown (Ionizer Remix) :drama:
  17. people suck here Well it's true, I think a lot has to do with the people buying/going to prog parties.. thay actually don't want it to be psychedelic (maybe they want it to be called psy??!) They want what they are used to, easily digested and easily mixed stuff (last point maybe made by the DJs??! ) I never hear deep/dark or psychedelic prog at parties here... but people still love minimal
  18. I see fear factory mentioned... have to add the title track on Demanufacture http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zyufeh5dD9s it has some electronic effects as well ahh I totally forgot about this one this is actuallly quite nice... getting some flash-backs! actually it was FF and White Zombie that re-sparked my interest in electronica after a heavy melt-down in the early-mid nineties
  19. man I wasn't impressed with the samples... I loved his debut so was quite exited when I saw this, but I was scared away... maybe I should give another chance well I will no mater what!
  20. Aftermath sort fits its own niche, but u right it doesn't top it
