  1. Some nice things in the mailbox today ... Shakta - Silicon Trip And courtesy of Antic: Symbiosis V/A - Iconoblast GMS - Chaos Laboratory
  2. Yes. Oh, yes. Psytrance is dead I went for both but more of the twisted style. That's what I associate with goa. Those crazy wicked sounds. And now I hear that referred to as hippie trance. Man, that's crazy. It's only 10 years old, and now it's hippie. But I guess it's nothing different than, say, rock. If in 1965 you listened to Bill Haley, I'm sure, people would think of you as a yesterday'er ...
  3. ÜBERCOOL !!!!!!!! Man, you're good. I really like how you made the cut fit the music. Loads of small fine details. I would like even more clips/cuts here and there, but that could just be personal taste. Really, it looks close to professional and with that I mean including the photo equipment. Congrats! Your birhtday pal must be very happy - both with part (looks like great fun) and your video. Siskel & Ebert says "two thumbs up"
  4. Jikkenteki - The Long Walk Home. So far still on the ambient cd 1 ...
  5. Sounds interesting ! Good luck & I will be sure to check it out.
  6. For some reason I've never been able to commit myself fully to the Vibrasphere sound. I mean, obviously, these guys know what they're doing and everything is put together effortlessly. I just like a little more craziness in my music. Likers of Lime Structure will not be disappointed, though. As with LS, Vibrasphere is still churning together some deep progressive trance tracks with ventures into housey territories. Also Vibrasphere sticks to making long tracks. Except for two tracks all are clocking in at 8:30 mins+, which is a plus in my book. Vibrasphere wants to put you on a voyage with every track. All very nice. If only the destination was a little more crazy and unpredictable, I could fall head over heels. Even so, fans of Vibrasphere ought to have their expectations safely met here. Archipelago oozes the Vibrasphere touch, and even if I'm not their biggest fan, most of the way I am still pleasently entertained. Besides, with opening track Tierra Azul almost matching Manzanilla in terms of romancing, that alone should make this album a safe purchase.
  7. I second that. I had some challenges learning to appreciate Tumult, but figured Derango could rock live. And they did. I need to hear Tumult soon again to see if that experience will help me appreciate them even more. I mean, at Boom I even started to notice melodies in their tracks
  8. Yeah, I traded myself to it for a copy of Mystical Experiences. Patience and luck. And the hours, off course ... Edit: The Ominus is an excellent album btw.
  9. How is it? Man, T.V. are just spitting cds out by the hour.
  10. Well, he specifically stated that he would send money via mail, so you still have a shot
  11. I'm a big fan of Strange Attractors and so I had big expectations for Freq's follow up. So, Is Aran able to live up to the splendor of SA? Well, yes and no. I like G20, but it's different from SA. It seems Aran this time around wanted to keep things more smooth. Where SA opened with two monster dance tracks and, generally, had a more aggresive vibe to it, G20 is more subtle. Mostly, anyway, and the result for me is an album I can't really put my finger on. It flows, but there aren't many surprises and the result at times may seem a little bleak. At least when compared to the fanfare of goosebump moments that was SA. Still, fans of progressive ought not hesitate ordering G20. Aran still has a firm grip on all the essentials and I also have the feeling this could be an album that grows on you. The sounds are as rich and fat as ever and the more I hear it, the more details I discover. All in all, I guess a safe purchase with potential
  12. you're too kind Artur Anyway, you were here first so I expect you to get asked first if buyer/trader is interested. Merely stated that I have it too in case it didn't work out. EDIT: My Silicon Trip is already gone ...
  13. Haha, thanks for the thoughts, guys No worries, Skelly's still here, but a family member has a u.s. business address. Made it possible. Anyway, I'm only interested in the non V/A's albums and one V/A album (the flying rhino one).
  14. Freq - Gosub 20. Not as good as Strange Attractors ...
  15. I also expect an extra copy of Silicon Trip in a day or two. For sale or trade.
  16. Total Eclipse - Violent Relaxation I have mentioned it already twice but let me mention it thrice. 2.20 gbp off ebay ...
  17. Total Eclipse - Violent Relaxation. From start to finish ... Just got it off ebay for 2.20 gbp. WTF
  18. LUV THAT TRACK !! All time classic in my book. The song consists of three choruses. A modern Herman's Hermits' No Milk Today. Like Boom. It's amazing And I'm listening to Androcell's Efflorescence for the 4th time in a row. Beatiful dubby chill out .. While getting slightly more intoxicated ....
  19. International Peoples Gang - International Peoples Gang 0006 Very chilly
