  1. I'd give you $40 for it.
  2. I wouldn't characterize his stuff as melancholic but I could see how you might have that opinion.
  3. Your comment is true only on an extremely superficial level. There are so many objections I have here that it is difficult to begin. i) Some releases cannot be 'downloaded' ii) 320 kbps compression is unacceptable to some people. iii) Some releases have intrinsic value unrelated to musical content OR collectibility such as media content, artwork, etc.. etc.....................................
  4. My guess is that given say 50 of each disk, the Crop Circles would saturate the market much faster. But in the short term it would fetch a higher price that Accidental Occidentalism. Eventually the smallish Crop Circles cult would be exhausted, and the demand for AO would at that point supercede the latter.
  5. God, I would LOVE to hear Silence reworked!!! The first 4-5 minutes of that tune are so delicious - the main line is so incredibly powerful. It is difficult to place the correct adjective on it but there is a line from Milton's 'Paradise Lost' that goes something like: ...and they were like locusts, warping on the eastern wind. \\n
  6. Jesus that is a beautiful picture - your avatar...
  7. HAHAHA!!!! you are too funny Cinos
  8. yea, I know...I'm trying to think of one
  9. Rainbirds is for people who want everything by the Astral et. al. like how I need to have everything by Posford no matter how shitty it is. Lunar Civilization is a masterpiece - that track by itself if released on a CD would be more valuable by an order of magnitude - if not for the fact that I could sell Rainbirds for 60-100 bucks. And I'm not even a huge Pleiadians nut!
  10. Watch how many 'views' this thread gets. That's how many people care
  11. hehe, maybe so. I purchased Accidental Occidentalism for $35, Hypnorhythm for 11 euros. Neither were allowed to 'breathe' for long though I would imagine that the Gas CD on em:t would fetch quite a bit.
  12. To the right person, that one is valuable - not too many copies floating around...
  13. Let's find out what people think.
  14. here is one: $$$$$$ as for this one: #%$$$$$$$$%@%&$*## no one really knows but I think it's more valuable than AO, D5, or Transwave, possibly by a significant amount.
  15. Beautifully put. To the guy asking about the video game: I don't really know what it is like, nor can I confirm that it is actually Simon. But honestly, a single Posford tune is more valuable to me than several albums by most (read 99%) other musicians.
  16. I just discovered a Posford track that I was hitherto unaware of: Video Game!!
  17. I think LSD is one of his poorest tracks. I am really liking some of his new sampling techniques. I first started noticing how he was distorting the human voice radically when I heard 'Spawn' It has developed into these remarkably controlled; goas-tro-intestinally modified vocalizations. It is really prominent in the second short track on the new Shpongle album as well as the tracks on Unusual Suspects 2. Only Posford can make throwing up sound sweet!! \\n
  18. I have to say I almost totally agree with you - these two are like Mozart compositions in my eyes. However I have to add Snarling Black Mabel. And I agree with the person who commented on Deranger. It is the last 2.5 minutes of the track that is just fucking mindblowing. Yea I guess I forgot to drop in Space Pussy and Gamma Goblins #@$%#@
  19. No it is almost definitely not in Discogs
  20. No whinging...if you don't wan't to participate then go away.
  21. Yes agreed. Nevertheless they are released in co-operation with TIP and aren't really re-releases. Also, if you look at Graham, it is a substantially different comp.
  22. Then I suppose you could include White ... I guess Andrea and Graham aren't exactly colours... WTF they are as much colours as '3D' !!
  23. sorry that was very stupid of me to post that in this of all sub-forums I apologize antic - I was just gloating over some CDs I found on ebay recently. I am open to trading the OOOD in particular however, since I already have a copy. \\n
