  1. Very cool photos, Ormion. I especially love the anchor one and the red seaweed one. Very mysterious and magical.
  2. I love how there are no comments here. Just sayin'. :drama:
  3. Kickass album cover. [/sideline-commentary]
  4. Anoebis - Do you consider the Ka-Sol release to be a business mistake? In purely financial terms and in gaining equity for your label? (I know it was largely an emotional consideration, because his music is good and he has strong underground roots.) Basically, has the experience made you feel like you only want to release music that is more of a "sure thing"? Also, have you been in touch with Kenneth Abildgaard or D-Dave for possible future releases on complilations? Thanks!
  5. Haa! Well, he was like 15 or something at the time.
  6. Tough! Going strictly by most-listened-to albums I own: 1. Colorbox - Train to Chroma City 2. Pleiadians - I.F.O. 3. Astral Projection - T.I.T. 3 4. The Delta - Scizoeffective 5. Juno Reactor - Transmissions
  7. Good one, man. I'm fine without the mad, old thing. I already feel weird about having so many posts here over so many years. No need to emphasize the fact. But yeah, Sherlock has been here since pretty much the beginning, too. If I'm not mistaken, "metalman" was his first name. Thanks, reger.
  8. Huh. Somehow my review went missing. Damn censors. Anyway, crap album. Really bad. Hollywood cheese factory.
  9. Sweet. Thanks. Chix and tek. Niiiiice. Hi Meghan.
  10. Got rid of it a long time ago. Okay. Goodbye forever.
  11. A couple more: Double Dragon - Continuum: It was highlighted as a classic in the old reviews section, so I bought it. Didn't like it. Ra - To Sirius: Back when it was new. Didn't do the trick for me.
  12. That was definitely one of mine, too. I think I just threw it away. Rare. Skazi - Animal Back in the day Skazi was totally hyped. The CD sucked. Doof - Let's Turn On Hallucinogen/Shpongle - everything Para Halu - the first album, forget what it's called Twisted System - both albums Derango - whatever that mess was called
  13. Is Boshke Beats up to anything these days?
  14. Good question. I've been listening to Blast Food over and over lately. Would be nice to have something similar. Doubt it will/can happen though.
  15. With Etnica I'd go with History (despite the awful mixing/mastering). We are talking favorites, right?
  16. I haven't tried Reaktor but that was my first instinct when I wanted to get some good software. I read a lot of reviews and ended up with Reason. The reviews for Reaktor generally stated that the learning curve was too steep and analytical for a lot of people. Reason got good reviews regarding the learning curve, but I find, after a year and a half that it is powerful yet limited. If I could do it again I would get something that was more complex and more open to technology, but also not so crazy. Which is why I purchased Cubase not too long ago. I'm still hesitant to really dive into it because I'm so comfortable with Reason, and having the new version of Reason coming out in a couple months may make it even more difficult to break away. What you start with may be what you end up staying with, so make the choice wisely. Get something you enjoy, but also something you'll have years to grow into. Also, there are lots of odd programs out there that are not top-shelf names, but that do some very interesting things, if you're interested in being unique rather than making music on a grid. Good luck!
  17. Fall Out (Dong Edit) Side Project: Def by Delta Part 2
  18. Another age-old secret revealed. God help us.
  19. Um... Jesus, I'm totally speechless. "Speechless" sort of rhymes with "Jesus". That's all I have to say. My mind is too preoccupied with the processing, filtering and repression of what I just heard. Forget obeying your master. Obey NHJO, for the love of all that is good and holy.
  20. It's decent. It could use some more variation and detail as the minutes go by to keep the listener engaged, and some dynamism in the sounds to create more of a contrasted effect. And of course some production. But it's cool. It has a vintage feel to it. Good luck. Also, Music Promo is better if you want people's comments.
  21. The cat is officially out of the bag. Veracohr has just released the time-honored secret tradition of How to Make Sexy Progressive that Feels Like Deep Penetration of a Sexy Teen Girl. Someone had to eventually do it, and even though many will hate you because it's sort of like revealing the instructions of The Greatest Magic Trick Ever, history has been made today, and the world will no longer be the same. I only hope that the methods of How to Make Sexy Progressive that Feels Like Deep Penetration of a Sexy Teen Girl are used intelligently and with grace.
  22. You don't want to do dueling banjos with me, buddy. I paid my debts.
