  1. Don't be a fag, Charlie. Just kidding. I'm with ya.
  2. Yo yo yo. Check it. Yo, this trizoll step up, yo. So ah say, yo, wassup, trollio? He pull out a nine An' I say, Yo, nigga - you mind? He say he don' like me messin' wit' 'is trees. Aims and says beatch, freeze! So I'm all like, nigga, dat ain't cool, Wat you take me for, a fool? So I whip out mah uzi, and faster than you can say shizuzi, I pops a cap in 'is ass and blas' that crusty nigga away like a floozie.
  3. Perhaps, especially since Family of Light was a sequel of sorts. But after I got my head out of my ass I ended up really liking it, and still do. Anyway, the emotion is the same. So nyeah.
  4. Not funny, Charlie. Unless it is. Yeah, an old IDM act that is impossible to find some releases of, and which makes me geek out over and over and over.
  5. Bought my copy today. I'm soooooo looking forward to it. I haven't looked forward to a release this much since Family of Light.
  6. I just ordered my copy a few minutes ago, so I'll have to wait a week or so to respond properly.
  7. So far this year I've been enjoying n.Ln's album Astronomy for Children (mellow, beautiful IDM) the most. It wasn't released this year, so maybe it doesn't count. Coming in second is Vector Lovers' Capsule for One (electro-ish electronica). Again, not released this year. I've got some new releases coming in the mail. Hopefully they'll kick off my 2006 release charts.
  8. I know that some people are impartial to Colourform, but I find Freefloater to be by far the better and more sophisticated of the two. The track Skank is what turned me on to IDM initially. Then again, it's probably a case of which you hear first is the one you prefer. Birmingham Frequencies is nice ambient stuff, more chilled than previous albums. And Polar Sequences is totally chilled, but of course much of that is Biosphere's influence. Oh hey, by the way, AC, do you have the original S.H.A.D.O. and DSN disks?
  9. A couple weeks ago??? No I didn't. I swear. I do now recollect perhaps asking several months ago, and have since forgotten, and it wasn't quite the same context if I recall. I just get sort of geeked out when I see those specific albums because I honestly don't know how to listen to them without spending $500 at eBay. I'm a huge HIA fan, and really enjoy Moufang and Namlook's stuff, too. Have they rereleased these albums anywhere yet, like they did with Polar Sequences? Sorry for being repetetive.
  10. Yeah, that is a lot. It would all start to blur together for me after that much listening. By the way, AC, I noticed you've been listening to HIA and Namlook. Do you have the original(s), or is that some online dealio? Also, do you by any chance have HIA and Deep Space Network?
  11. 70% IDM/electronica/ambient 25% Psytrance/chillout 5% Other
  12. Hehe. That's funny. I own the A Giant Alien Force More Violent & Sick Than Anything You Can Imagine EP and Chocolate Wheelchair, and honestly they grow on you a little. But yeah, an acquired taste, for sure.
  13. Spring and summer are now allowed to officially start. Great news, Anoebis. And Good luck to you with this one.
  14. Ka-Sol owns Derango. There was only one half-decent track on that album anyway. I really don't know what the fuss is all about.
  15. That looks like a quasi-pseudo-laugh, Charlie.
  16. Killer work as always. I think I died at least once per track. I don't see how it's possible that you keep making so much deadly music. The contracts should be pouring in any second. If not, they're just being coy. You know how they are.
  17. "Sick" is the new "bad", the new "cool", the new "awesome", the new "nifty", the new "swell".
  18. There's that one Infected track on Converting Vegetarians, with the growling cat. I forget what it's called. Also, I always thought the sound during the break of BOTFB's Tigerhill was like a space tiger, but that might be a stretch.
  19. Cool, man. No, I personally have not adventured into exotic scales territory yet, although I sometimes switch up my time signature. Not very adventurous. Do you have any examples of music using Byzantine scales?
  20. Comments sent. No, no Gaian Mind for me, but I will be at Sonica. (By the way, people, Lauryn's track was pretty cool. I told her she should post it for some helpful feedback since it's not done yet.) Now STFU.
  21. Totally wicked, I agree. And sick, yes, to use the new in slang.
  22. Sorry about the STFU thing. I was trying to be funny (I almost never use it). Anyway, I look forward to it.
