  1. How about Dakini? They're pretty close with Interchill, too. By the way, mad, I used your information from some time ago to get the two Legion of Green Men albums. Floating in Shallow Water is awesome. Makes me dance helplessly. If you're looking for labels, check out the labels of the artists on Infinessence, Floatation and other Interchill comps. They're pretty diverse. Aspen, for instance, is on Involve, which has a bunch of good chill-out/IDM/lounge.
  2. Okay, I'll try to listen to it a few more times, but I'll have to have some paper towels in case my ears bleed.
  3. Can someone tell my why they think Trippy Future Garden is so good? I listened to it for the first time a couple weeks ago and I found it repulsive! I couldn't bear it. I love old school stuff, and maybe it needs to grow on me, but jeez, could the sound quality get any worse, and could the sounds be more grating to the ears? Yikes! Overrated.
  4. You beat me to it, Ollie. I was going to say the exact same thing. Dragon Tales.
  5. Stormbringer! Welcome back. Been missing your tech reviews. The last ones, I think, were the Spirallianz Silver Editions.
  6. Well it's a HUGE stretch, Bronco, but your description reminds me of a track called Quantum Mechanic by Thomas Dolby. I highly doubt it's the track you're looking for, but here are some of the female lyrics in a somewhat robotic voice: move your body to the beat boy move your body next to me and feel the rhythm dance with me again. Were there a lot of other lyrics in the track, both male and female? Again, I highly doubt it's the track, but it would be really effin' weird if it was.
  7. Bronco, were the vocals in the first one robotic/synthetic at all?
  8. "Where can I find information on giant monkeys?" Hehe.
  9. Strump - It's been "incoming" for a year now, and it's really late. I know they put out an EP, but there's no sign of an album that I know of. Anyway, I'm looking forward to it.
  10. Neanderthal Love by Star Sounds Orchestra is my favorite slow track. Wicked sounds. So when's their new album coming out, dammit?!
  11. I listened to a couple of the tracks today and I have to admit it's not nearly as bad as you guys have made it out to be. Yeah, there are some cheese aspects, but all the signs of the future Juno sound are there. Very interesting to listen to creativity beginning to blossom. I don't know if I'd highly recommend it to anyone, but I'd certainly recommend it to Juno Reactor fans.
  12. Chances are it's a GMS track.
  13. I've actually ordered the CD, brent, but I appreciate your help. I just wanted to see what people thought of it since it isn't reviewed. Thanks.
  14. Check out the "music like cydonia..." topic posted by "michael". It's either at the bottom of this page or on the top of the last.
  15. Send In Send Back definitely has one.
  16. Is it anything like Transmissions? I mean, it dates from the same time period, so I'm thinking it must be at least similar. If it is like Transmissions I'll be very happy since that album is my favorite psy album. At least it was cheap if it's bad! I've heard similar comments about Luciana, and that's selling for loads of cash at eBay as we speak. Thanks for the comments, brent.
  17. Psychoslaphead is a Juno Reactor side project. I had no idea until a couple days ago. Anyone heard the maxi-single from 1993? There are a bunch of cheap cut-outs at half.com ($4.00) if anyone's interested.
  18. Colorbox - Train to Chroma City Didn't Total Eclipse's "Access Denied" have a hidden track, or am I mistaken?
  19. Awesome! Thanks for the translation, bugbread. That's one of my favorite all-time psy tracks and I've always wondered what was being said in the samples. Those build-ups, layers of percussion, whooshes and crashes are so damn intense!
  20. The second one sounds like "Spaceships and Spacepeople" on Macrophage. Sounds like the first sample might be, "What the world needs now is meditation," but I might be wrong, and I wouldn't know where it came from. Good luck.
  21. I'm stuck in the Midwest USA with headphones. If it was convenient, I'd spend my psy-time in the forest or desert or mountains. Nope. Someday.
  22. Agree. 97 and 98 were great years for the genre. 96 and 99 were decent, too.
