  1. Well, your screenplay writing skills are lacking but Iike the idea overall. I would watch it.. Long as it was well produced and didn't look like any number of dodgy "spiritual" movies. Why Celestine Prophecy movie, Whyyyyyyyy!!? Lol.
  2. Probably don't send toooo much more Radi.. She might get overwhelmed and just not listen to anymore. Take it slow mate if she likes it she will ask you for more.
  3. Who are the goa, ok psytrance also, artists who always seem to be left out of top ten lists or best of threads? I think maybe Toi Doi on the goa side? Doesn't seem to get much mention and often overlooked. Possibly also Ubar Tmar but maybe coz it just doesn't fit anywhere!?
  4. Nice video Radi, cheers. I will try it on some cheaper ones I have maybe. Also pretty good English mate, was expecting much worse hehe
  5. Haha I know. And I admire Simon as much as anyone, but I can't help but feel I have missed the ideal time to see him live, when he would be fully into the music he was playing. He doesn't even like psytrance these days! Whereas filteria for me is at the peak of his career and I'm sure more than happy to be playing goa trance
  6. Thread delivers. Rotwang dragging up Radis past, well I never! Haha
  7. This is a really nice album, really picks up I feel about halfway through. Hope people aren't sleeping on this one just because of the first darker tracks. Reminds me of a more goa influenced Darkshire at the start of the album then comes into its own after that.
  8. Boris blenn is not in my top ten/twenty goa producers and a lot of his stuff is barely goa to me I'm happy for your nice pleasure of pashion thought.
  9. I will just say, I need a photo of you and Imba side by side, that's all. And yes, he is a great young producer that i respect, but to me his stuff has a long way to go. I'm not being negative, Space Elves just never did it for me and production isn't up to scratch. I know you want old school sound though so I can see how it might be for you
  10. There is something really gratifying about that kind of thing when it works! I know the feeling of having certain music trapped on only one device. Eventually you just have to suck it up and realise it will all be ok. And you can probably get it back if you lose it. Heh. Enjoy your "new" tunes
  11. Ahhhh... How So? Or do you mean what Shpongle already have been... and moved on from? (For better or worse)
  12. I saw today a friend mention how he doesn't do psytrance parties anymore as "no artist has been innovative for years in that genre".. I held my tongue as I realise its all in the eye/ear of the beholder...but I think he is way off the mark.. For me some actual innovative artists in goa/psy recently are: Blackstarrfinale - For the way he has mixed goa elements with psy so nicely, unlike anyone else ive heard the past few years. And also for pulling together a nicely coherent concept album. M Run - For just simply being unique in their sound and style. Can't quite put my finger on it but it is just goa crossed with a healthy dose of psychedelic fun. I have a heap more but wanted to see what other people consider as innovative artists at the moment?? (Don't just post your favourite artists or I would just say filteria! )
  13. Haha nice And I always thought Hallucinogen would be mine but its going to be hard to top Derango that I just saw recently.. And I have a feeling Filteria soon enough
  14. I am almost ashamed to admit there was a point I liked his original shambala mix, then I got out of that stuff as fast as I got in before it all went to hell :/ I dare not even listen to the new mix as my opinion of the whole genre has probably changed and I don't want to tarnish my memories lol
  15. I would believe it lol. that stuff is the closest to normal trance of any I guess. I find it nice sometimes but really at the opposite end of the psychedelic spectrum. My Gf loves it though hah.
  16. Lol I didn't notice haha. Would edit it to that if I could lol. Some good replies. Technosomy I agree with your idea of just liking what you like. It's the only way to be! In regards to taste changing I think age plays into it somewhat perhaps along with getting to know the genre better. (Talking just psy here) I still can't quite put my finger on why I suddenly like stuff I hated only a couple years ago. Come to think of it though, that stuff I "hated" I never gave a chance or listened to in the first place..
  17. So I got to thinking about my own musical tastes and how they have changed slightly over the years, even just within the psytrance genre. I think as I've dug deeper I have been able to "refine" my tastes and really find the goa or psy that I love the most. Also I've become more open to sub genres I originally dismissed entirely. Where I once heard extremely boring going nowhere "music" in some minimal and prog I can now appreciate it for the complex build up and controlled release style. Maybe I'm just getting old? Either way I find it quite interesting how my own perceptions of music can change so dramatically. I'm trying to work out exactly how and what catalysed such thing. Do everyone's tastes change over time? Did you ever dismiss something only to suddenly "get it" years later?
  18. I was impressed with the free trials I had of Spotify and Digitally Imported (I think it was that one). I remember being happily surprised spotify had a heap of goa on there If I had money and a need for streaming I think I would go for Spotify. Seems like the largest library.
  19. Those are quite good. I think it has a certain charm all of its own.
  20. Nice pics Frontier. They would have been epic to traverse/see in real life. I'm sure Bulgaria has nice mountains, but not really in the best in the world category I don't think.
  21. It certainly doesn't hurt and there is Zero sense in shunning things like linked in... Just putting your head in the sand and pretending they don't exist or help at all is silly.. Might as well take advantage of such simple tools. The more people that Know you are good at your job the better, and that's what they are for. And yes I'm employed. Had only 3 months off when I quit last year after 11 years for Holiday. Now working holiday overseas. Long service payout + shit tonne of owed holidays from my last job was epic.
  22. Nice guys from Australia putting out some really quality Twilight style stuff. Good to see as there is not that much of it there and they are doing a great job. All their releases so far have been pretty good to my ears and they like their stuff prettttty hard if you are into that sound
  23. Whoa, that was a really good reply man. Seriously! Far Better than the isratrance replies haha (go there for a laugh at the shitstorm oops lol) You have Some great points that I guess I overlooked. Still disappointed at the time I guess but yeah I see your point. Cheers.
  24. I just meant... I would rather if they didn't pretend to be doing something they are not. That's all. Just mix your fucking set on the fly, or press play on laptop and dance around. But don't try and deceive people into thinking you are doing a "live" set if you are not ffs. If you truly are doing a live ableton set (launching vlips, adding effects in real time etc) then great good for you. But pretending to?? Why?? $$$$.... Ps: I wouldn't normally care except I was so close to him and it was so blatantly just a show. Never seen anything like it.
