  1. I read your praise of those Radi and they have good reviews at Head Fi etc..Cheers.. I'm just a bit hesitant as I now think any brand will break on me I'm pretty sure. Seriously considering ten pairs of no name for $6. But I might get the MX as well. I'm sure the cheap no names will sound shit and I will have wasted my money, but hey, spare pairs around. Also on topic, I would buy Dt 880s if I was at home/studio setup.
  2. Can't help the above poster as I'm away from my good akgs overseas atm. However, I just want to say... Earphones, in ears, earbuds... What. The. Fuck! Whatever the fuck portable walking to the tube music listening devices I try, they ALWAYS break in one freaking ear! 5 pairs in 5 months! From $5 up to $65! Just ridiculous how a tiny freaking wire can be so fragile in this day and age! I am also extra careful never to strain them I just have real bad luck. Think I'm going to just buy like ten dirt cheap pairs on eBay, at least then I will always have some in my bag. /end rant
  3. Anyone know what happened to this guy after those phenomenal releases?? Is he still writing music? I know they were mostly old tracks at time of release, but I still haven't heard anyone else capture that classic H sound quite like he did.
  4. Heh Don't take the forum stuff so serious mate. I was half joking anyway. But I do actually hope the break was good for him. We will see if old habits can change
  5. Really good stuff these guys are making. Believe an album is on the way on Suntrip also if I'm not mistaken. This is a great entree before the main meal!
  6. Heya, No worries And yup, actually the man Spacey Koala is inspired most by I believe. Australian melodic but you might already know him. http://m.soundcloud.com/terrafractyl http://m.soundcloud.com/terrafractyl/the-nature-of-conciousness
  7. Great review and was exactly what I thought when listening to it.. Something flat about the sound of the copy I had but musically it was nice. Nothing groundbreaking but still had its charm.
  8. Not watching new breaking bad until its all available for one sitting. Taking a lot of self restraint lol. But I can't handle watching just one or two episodes of it!
  9. I for one just want to say Welcome Back and I hope your break was reinvigorating perhaps.
  10. Wait.. Nooooo is summer really over already on this side of the world!? It can't be true! I've only gone to Croatia as you know lately but it was really gorgeous. A lot of mishaps along the way and we were without a hotel or anywhere to stay one night due to overbooking somehow! I'm not used to this summer yet I think, some reason I thought I had a lot longer left!
  11. Haha, pretty much. And, i got to see that people can actually dance to it. Was talking to Joske beforehand and was concerned from past experience that people in Aus didn't know what to do without a "chunky" bassline, but people certainly knew what to do here
  12. So I finalllly heard goa trance on a huge system at Lost Theory and it was as glorious as I ever imagined Sure, nothing to you Europeans who get it all the time but coming from Australia where I would never get that it was amazing to wake up to! I missed Anoebis set after partying too hard previous nights but got to catch the end of dimension 5 and m run also. On another note I met Joske and he is an amazing person, and has the best vibe. If you ever get a chance to go to something Suntrip related, do ittttt! I will be going to Belgium soon enough! Not sure if this deserved its own thread i was just excited to achieve a life goal haha.
  13. Link doesn't work but sounds good. What would u do if caught her??! Also does she knows goa trance?
  14. But.. I would rather just watch them just mix actually live, than pretend to be playing or tweaking synths live :/
  15. Awesome, Timewarp is really coming along! I will say it again that it is a great time to be a goa fan these days!
  16. Wooooot! Lost Theory was awesome, and I got to meet one half of Suntrip haha So cool! Waking up and hearing goa trance over a big system for the first time in my life was sooooooooo special! Even more so after a day of full on!
  17. Psykovsky at Lost Theory was absolutely disgusting. I was one metre away from him literally, and was watching his "tweaking" of so many knobs that did nothing at all to the sound. He was Faking the whole thing. Pushed play on his pre made set and bullshitted the rest. Absolute rubbish. I hope someone on stage could maybe confirm but I really really doubt his controllers were even mapped and affecting anything. Just disgusting and made us leave the dancefloor. Psykovsky isn't the only one but its the first I've seen someone so blatantly do that. Just... Ewe. Also his "music" was rubbish anyway compared to real forest and dark stuff being played.
  18. Terrafractyl - Chrysalis Best Melodic full on album I have heard.
  19. If we are posting here every time we are drunk ill be taking the lead in no time :/ A week break is a huge record lately. Uk drinks are too cheap
  20. That couldn't have been..? Tell me it wasn't an aus IP?
