Haha I wish it was all in the mind. But when you literally feel run over by a truck and spewing mucus from every pore mind over matter doesn't help lol... Luckily, one good thing is the uk doesn't have retarded pseudoephedrine laws so I can actually get cold tablets that help! I do agree about stress though. Perhaps stress in all forms though eg partying stress on the body/mind leads to a weaker immune system.. Anyway... Cold and flu tablet addict for now ::

Trance2MoveU nice review. I think some people may feel the way you did at first. Perhaps not sure if its goa or psytrance if they are hardcore purists of either... Still though if they give it a chance it is just its own journey. Also I think this stuff is what dancefloors who don't know what to do to goa need. It will be great. Track 5 for my money is where it really takes off. Still listening, and will be for a long time.

It definitely does... Australia's descent into some kind of mish mash progressive/diversified psy culture is a huge reason I'm glad I've escaped overseas for now. I can't really speak to what cultural or environmental factors have caused the change but its a bit about the younger guys making the music and how they were bought up... Australia's NNSW "chunk" scene is an absolute travesty to psychedelic culture... Hopefully things change by the time I go back! Heh..

One time I listneded to astral protectchion on the highest peak mount man after driving on the smoothest australian outback road and it was for sure the one true derp goa trance sound.

The only good psy artist to use guitar is cosmosis... And ooooonly just hah. Borders on cheese at times.. Still his live antics would be fun to watch. Seems like a nice chap too.

Sooo since moving to London I have literally had a cold or something about once a month.. Never been so sick in my life. Usually it doesn't last but it's just shit getting better then getting sick again a weekend later.. No doubt my lifestyle and large wkends play a part but I think half of it is being in a new country and getting new germs on the tube everyday? So do you guys get sick as much as me? I think it's a pretty unique track? In fact it's just plain hard to think of single tracks that sound like other tracks, for me anyway. Do you just want like futuristic psy maybe? Also agree on having only one astral thread to rule them all lol.

Goa is something that Has happened yeah.. Ask anyone who was around then they all say the same things... However, neo goa is a thing that is happening now in just the same way.. Well maybe to a lesser extent. I don't like to think of it as a revival or anything, just as its own unique entity and I'm glad to be around to experience it

The only way to know for sure beforehand is to know the artists that are playing. If its just djs, at least look up their soundcloud to get an idea of what u will hear. Then from that decide to attend or not. Sounds like you unfortunately stumbled upon a predominantly minimal/progressive type party.. What country are you in I wonder? Ps: chances of ever hearing real goa are very very slim apart from in Belgium or at major festivals or one off random nights. But yes there is some real proper psychedelic music being played around. Lost Theory this year would be the pinnacle of that.

No but possibly the tiniest bit of HPPD.. Sometimes if I look at a wooden table for example or a wall or something it will seem to slightly morph or move in the same way it has when tripping. This is pretty rare though and I don't think it's classed as HPPD unless it affects your life, which it doesn't as i actually really enjoy it when it happens, heh
