Speaking only for myself, all our releases @ sita records are printed in only 500 copies. If I wouldn't do it like that, I would loose a lot of money. And if mentioning the 'limited' characteristic right now would really make a difference in the amount of CD puchasers of our label, that would be a bit stupid. If you care for music, you buy it, not just because it's a limited edition... Also, I'm 100% sure that big name-CD's such as D5, MR 2 etc. won't be printed in such small quantities. Most limited edition CD's are coming from the newer newschool goa trance artists, which are often not valued as highly by collectors, who mainly aim at buying oldschool stuff. Hence, the limited numbers of CD's are completely legitimate in those cases. Hunab Ku seems to be somewhat of a standalone case, and maybe the new Brainforest CD as well, both printed in only 300 copies. Brainforest however is leaning towards Nitzhonot, which of course makes the same group of die-hard oldschool collectors run away as fast as they can. Hence, again, 300 copies is a totally understandable number.

Mindsphere - Patience For Heaven [Suntrip]
Agneton replied to a topic in Artist News and Labels announcements
Of course this will be an insta-buy for me I loved the old Mindsphere and the new CD will offer some great stuff as well it seems. I should say thou, that I preferred the older 'agressive' Mindsphere style a bit more, with the +145 bpm music and mega-melodies all over the place. The new style seems to be a more floating-mature kind of music. It's just my personal preference which will suprise nobody, I suppose! -
I was really a big fan of Traworm & Maximum Pain. Both tracks date from around 2009, and we were intending to release them on Sita Rec., but unfortunately we had problems with the highly- compressed mastering of both tracks...nevertheless I'm very happy they are released today, already bought my digital copy!

I had one great trade with him, and immediately went on to purchase some of his CD's. He never ever sended me the CD's although he claimed they would arrive to me 'any moment' or 'very soon'. Excuse after excuse followed. In the end I was forced to leave him bad feedback, which I try to avoid at ALL cost. Too bad, but I agree with Seno, avoid this guy!

Well, yeah I thought about that too first, but then... you owed them 100, and from the 3 euros u have left u only use 2 to pay em back. so that's still 98 euros left they both need from you. The fact that you kept one euro for yourself is just irrelevant in determining your amount of debts against the parents (i think) Hope I'm making sense...

Hm... 49 euros + 49 euros + 2 euros u already gave 'em = 100 euros This riddle is just making wrong assertions in order to confuse, right?

U missed the Belgian Zirrex-hype in 2008 when he played his first set here back then they printed 100 represses of their LIT album (and everybody thought those were real CD's until Anoebis remarked it were just hi quality CDrs) and I managed to get one for the regular 10 €, but some of those CD's got sold for pretty insane prices . Good thing they repressed the LIT CD officially now! There's also some good tracks on the bonusCD btw! My favs are X-Indiane and Tadarinda!

Most newschool doesn't sell that much or that fast, hence the 300 copies limit. It's not a low number, it's a reasonable number given the sales. It seems to be different for the re-released or unreleased oldschool CD's such as Mind Rewind, where question exceeds the demands, for now at least. Lots more people willing to buy oldschool appearently. Ah well...gonna buy this Innerspace CD for sure of course, especially the first half sounds good to my ears !!

Psychedelic Zion - Documentary film on Goa parties (nineties).
Agneton replied to U.F.Orb's topic in General Psytrance
I know that Berto from Peace and Love Productions is still active in the Israeli scene, right? I got his FB... I do wonder if anybody from Israel knows who the Revital girl is...on a certain moment in the video they film her brother who is working on fasttracker of madtracker and creating a Nitzhonot track in his bedroom. So fucking cool any help to find out who he is would be appreciated! -

Isn't this documentary called 'Bombs on the way to the end of the world'? A very important documentary for me, since it features two Nitzhonot tracks (and thus marks the existence and relative importance of that genre during a tiny period)...Eyal Barkan - Good Morning Israel and Trivia - Phoenix. -

New Track "Sunrays in the old building''
Agneton replied to radi6404's topic in Free Music Promotion
Yes. If you want some feedback, try to get it from other new goa artists after having listened and commented their works through soundcloud, fb, whatever. That might imply you have to understand and try to appreciate their work, even if it's newschool, but they will generously reward you by trying to understand and appreciate your work as well. -
Finally they've unveiled the new D5 material
Agneton replied to Penzoline's topic in General Psytrance
Yes, the second half of the Filteria set was just magical in terms of the crowd's reaction...that gives a lot of hope for the future of newschool And about the people that say it has to do with the oldschool vs newschool argument: please don't do this again ...like if all those happy festival people immediately know the difference between oldschool and newschool...most of them don't even know what oldschool goa is, apart from some names! They just hear it as 'being different from fullon or dark or prog', in my opinion... When Hilight Tribe played on Boom Festival, a bunch of guys behind me was standing still asking to eachother 'what is this kind of music?' and one of them answered very seriously 'i think it's called goa!'. Well, in terms of basslines and kicks they surely lean more towards goa-ish kicks/basses then fullonish stuff. And you could see how the crowd had difficulties picking up that vibe as spontaneously as they would do with fullon basses.(although they did a good effort trying to ).- 58 replies

Finally they've unveiled the new D5 material
Agneton replied to Penzoline's topic in General Psytrance
What E-Mantra said. Countries with a big psytrance community, such as Germany or Brazil, do not catch the drift of the goa bassline vibe at all. Getting one quarter of a crowd gently moving on an old or newschool goa-track might already be considered an achievement there. And those who were at Boom will know how initially the energy on the dancefloor boiled down when Filteria started playing after the Psytrance-ish Logic Bomb act...when there's no considerable bass, it's like these partypeople cannot decode the music anymore, like it's just a bunch of random sounds, and they tend to stand still, waiting for another empty bassline-kick moment. Just my thoughts and experiences... Anyway, very happy with the comeback of D5!!- 58 replies

Thanks Digitoxin & Technosomy for your feedback!! Digi, I initially had some problems with the loudness of the bass in some tracks, however as far as I'm capable of hearing things (maybe my ears degraded a lot with all these parties over the last 4 years), the loudness/sharpness of the leads was intentional. Maybe it's useful if you could check out this version of the WOTF track: , it's another mastering made for a free compilation which I disliked. Do you think it's better or worse than the album mastering, or do you think both are bad? Technosomy, no words, thanks again for the feedback! <3
