  1. Judging on the previews and the tracks I already knew, this one is seriously matching my taste! Good melodies and a lot of energy going on here. The Space Elves track is very very nice, the first time I heard it I didn't really like it since I thought it to be pretty repetitive, but actually it is heavily reminiscent of the very early Goa Trance type and it would have fitted perfectly in a '95 Goa compilation. Great melancholic atmosphere in that one...Liquid Flow kicks ass too, I even think this track tops most of his album tunes, since the sound and melodies (epic!!) are far more distinguishable. Furthermore this comp features two Astrancer tunes. Nuff said, bo0m!!! Last but not least a special congrats to PharaOm and Somnesia featuring their massive Tears Of God tune, it sounds great ..hope my remix will be as good
  2. This one has some really awesome melodies though!! I do agree on the "non melodic trance being classified as goa" debate, although I'm definetely in the melodic-camp myself.
  3. Thanks brothers! We will also make digital downloads available, since I have the impression there's a group of people who prefers this rather than physical CD's!
  4. Seems to be a mix of unreleased guys, UAF , sita (persistent aura) ezel ebed (zed reactor, boneva), phototropic (astreveta, nolax) and other labels
  5. No problem mate!! Personally I was initially most worried about the fonts etc, didn't really pay attention to those things under the text..but in the end I think it's a good cover (otherwise I would have had to say no to it ). Anyway, thanks for the comments and hope you'll like the music!
  6. Just to state one thing clear about the cover, the prehistoric landscape stuff has been created from scratch for this release, so it's not just some quick & cheap copy-paste from somewhere on the net!

  8. Nice additions Somazoid! Actually there are just way too much new artists to mention...I guess/hope a lot of them will get proper releases too, sooner or later... The PequalNP track has some kind of Electrogothic atmosphere in the main melodies, hehe! Eeeevil! Great track in each case!
  9. I like a lot of tracks on it too. However I have the impression, from what I read on forums, that some people start to grow bored of melodic tracks. Imo it's a bit like what happened back in 98-99, when melodies got outfashioned, except for the darker-melodic stuff. Anyway, for me all tracks have distinctive sounds and there's tons of memorable moments included! Of course I also do love the new Vox nitzhogoa style ...
  10. Yeah, I want that CD too, plus an Ethereal re-release on DAT Rec. ! On topic: I also like Filteria's old sound a lot!
  11. True winner in the uptempo category is the People Walk Funny though...14 individual votes compared to 7 for Sita. I didn't participate to the contest because my general knowledge of Psytrance is far too limited, and I didn't want to make a list containing solely CD's from the 5 newschool labels that were active this year. However it's really cool to see that people did enjoy the Nitzhogoa music. Let's hope the second compilation will be able to keep the same level...more info soon .

Must be on the list indeed, it's an excellent initiative for new, young n talented artists to get in the spotlights. Especially with the support of Ektoplazm!
  14. I think Imperial Project tracks sound very very raw too, but I have to agree I like those tunes better cause theres a more pumping eastern vibe in them. Nevertheless, the Crossing Mind music is really great & emotional Goa Trance which surely deserves a real CD release!
  15. List should be updated with VA - Trilogy (The Soundfly), released on Unicorn Music. It's a 1st class Uplifting compilation with at least one track undebatably definable as Goa, Crucifix vs. Mendark - Cry Of A Fallen Angel. Also, in 2008, a free album of Pan Psychic was released through Sun Station Records, and it contains at least two newschool tunes! Vishnu Avatars & In Suspend, uu yeah baby!
  16. Found SSTI 1! Still looking for the rest!
  17. Ahh..great to hear that, and no problem of course! The amount of people that is interested in this style of music is small, and I'd like to help everybody who wants to discover this great genre!!
  18. Great Eurotrance!! I love it
  19. Discobole never answers and since their Uplifting stock is really small nowadays, the only thing they still have left are some Transistance CD's and...well that's it basically . I bought my copy from www.cdbaby.com, but I believe it's sold out there as well. However you might at least find some other Unicorn Uplifting CD's over there such as the Mendark debut album and Good Mood... Good luck, the CD is totally worth the purchase, if you find it!
  20. http://www.discogs.com/Various-Compilation-2/release/421351 Cyberion - Strange Signals! Great newschool on an otherwise pretty weak Psytrance comp.

If you're looking for some actual labels, consider any of the following: Phototropic Records Cronomi Records Ezel Ebed Records Moonquest Records Sita Records Kagdila Records (Pure Planet series, Liquid Flow album) Ultiva Records (Suncokreti CD) Elxis Discographic
  22. Great work man! Pure Israeli Nitzhonot! Keep it up, I love it!
  23. Oh..that's a smart idea But naturally I'd pay him for this, that was my intention! Anyway...if the coverguy I found atm doesn't achieve in creating something, I'll start cash negotiating here
