That looks like an Arthur Rackham picture, his artwork was fantastic.

I have had a portrait commissioned to keep in my attic, no getting old for me!

For those in the UK that like wine, this is fantastic: http://www.spicetrailwines.co.uk/?title=wines

Decent quality Cider is delicious, just don't buy the cheap stuff, as it's terrible. Wild Wood, Black Fox, Green Goblin organic ciders are fantastic. Locally brewed cider can be really good too.

I don't go for the instant action/reaction definition of Karma but life is always smoother and easier if you generally treat people in the way that you would expect to be treated by them.

I don't normally listen to a lot of Industrial stuff but Mind In a Box are pretty good. Along with VNV Nation.

No way would I ever apply for this. Radi, you make it sound like a trip to the park, Mars is a pretty hostile environment for a human to live in. Large amounts of cosmic radiation, thin atmosphere offering little protection from space debris, no running water. The reduced gravity would play havoc with your body, no thanks!

What kind of degrees do you hold? My company (Broadcom) have some open jobs at the moment, they are based near Cambridge though.

What Have you Learnt on the Dancefloor?
zoltan_g replied to Shpongled247's topic in General Psytrance
When you slip on a drink that some idiot has tipped out on the dancefloor, fall, hit your head on a wall and you lose your hearing for a few seconds. Don't just keep dancing, take the advice of others and go to the hospital as you probably have concussion -
Wow, The Sleeper by Quietman, I haven't heard that track for years. I'm going to have to go and find my copy of the album.

I fully agree! Having just finished a lovely Cappuccino style coffee from my lovely stove top coffee maker, one of my favourite kitchen devices.

Simon Heath is a genius. The albums 2145 and 2146 are fantastic, sci-fi dark ambient! All the CryoChamber label releases are available to listen on their YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/user/cryochamberlabel

The monthly Beatport remix competition has one of these for the prize this month. -
I just got around to listening to this. Great old school trance tunes! Reminds me of parties I went to when this stuff was really big.

2 new psy fused tunes from me now on soundcloud

I'll second that Flatliner is pretty good. -
My beliefs are all a bit mixed up really. I don't think you can possibly hope to really understand or fit a divine source into a human head, it just won't fit, like trying to pour 50 litres of water into an egg cup. For that reason I don't agree with organised religions and all that control. Having said that, I've seen and experienced far too many unexplained and just down right weird and utterly bizarre things to think that reality is just what we normally perceive day to day. I guess I'm a mixture of Shinto, Taoism, Animism and good old Paganism and none of the above on some days.

samples in psytrance, who are the usual suspects
zoltan_g replied to technosomy's topic in General Psytrance
I quite like tracks that use samples but as you say, timing and use is essential. The Matrix has been done to death now but there must be plenty of other sci-fi movies to grab pieces from. Science documentaries are quite good for samples, you know, people talking about black holes and stuff. -
I've never joined in this thread but here goes: I've also just re-read Do Androids Dream Of Electric Sheep. Far better than the movie adaptation, which I've always thought was way over rated but I'll probably get shot down for saying that! Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad movie but it ruins the original story. I'm just reading Good Omens by Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett. Quite odd and very funny. Basically about the coming of the anti-christ, which gets messed up by a bunch of Satanist Nuns. A demon and an angel get together to stop the apocalypse from happening as they both have a good deal going on living on the Earth.

I love that whole setup they have! I could spend days locked in that room making sounds!

I was listening to that earlier, sounds pretty good. Raja has picked some good ones I think.
