Turrikaner is based on the theme of Turrican, originally a game for the amiga. If you like this one you might want to check out Chris Hülsbeck - Turrican Soundtrack. He composed the original music and this CD contains more elborate versions of it, great stuff imo.

Dimension 5 Ra Early Etnica Pleiadians - IFO Transwave And then somewhat lesser... Asia 2001 Electric Universe Man with no name Psygone Jaïa and many many more

Very amateurish in my opinion. The song structures just seem sloppy to me and the production is mediocre at best. Talk about quantity over quality.

Synsun - Quazar Spectra - Ganzales Nystagmus - Soulgasm Misted Muppet - Toward the Castle Misted Muppet - Machine Forest Every song made by Filteria (besides snuggling snail, I suppose.) And many many more.

Any news on it? I recall reading something about a summer release but I cant even remember the label. Anyway, if he goes full on, one man less will walk the earth.

Hope its more in line with the first album than the second, found all the "monk howls" annoying. -
Best psytrance albums of 2007 ...... so far?

So, anyone knows of a site that sells psy-related clothing? And Im not talking about fractals, aliens and goofy colours, but artist logos, perhaps CD-covers or artist pictures. That would be real sweet.

Are there any inherent advantages with Ableton live over FL studio when it comes to trance production? Somehow I get the feeling that FL is generally being looked down upon, any substance to this? Basically, Im wondering if its worth switching to Ableton, or any other if its advised, from FL. Peace out.

free psy preset banks
longloststar replied to fleshbag's topic in Music Making and Production/Industry
Very nice! Looking forward to the "huge full fat z3ta bank consisting of around 1000 presets!" -
Been looking around for some sweet chillout and "chilloutish" proggressive/goa/whatever to listen to while studying. Found and loved the following: Eat Static - abduction (are all their albums in this vein? love it) Galaxy - angel Children of the bong Puff dragon The orb Etnica - juggling... Abakus - that much closer to the sun Celtic Cross - hicksville Bluetech Not what Im looking for: Shulman Ott So, what do you have for me?

Been doing music (on a very low level) for about half a year now. Problem is that I know sickening little about mastering, just barely know what the word means (dont ask me though). Thusly, I plead kindly for some help, couple of links or so would be real nice. For example, what programs to use, how to do it etc. My "mastering" so far has consisted of dragging the "general purpose mastering 4" mixer preset into the mixer (in FL) [...], to give a general idea of my skill level in the subject concerning. Tried the sticky thread ones but the tutorials there seemed way too advanced for me. Peace out.

I have used the search function to its demise, now I plead to the great psyminds here. Im looking for music in the following vein (in ranked order): Ra - To Sirius Dimension 5 Blue Planet Corporation Transwave (older stuff) First SynSUN album Jaïa - Blue Energy Now, I have tried lot's of other artists in this category, so please don't be greedy with the suggestions. Thanks a lot!

I can't believe (pun) that these guys had anything to do with Boarding Pass to Balangan; what is it with time and money that make people fuck themselves in the ass? This is, in my opinion, a pile of garbage; production values may be high but melodies sound like fucking mobile phone ring tones.

1. Tron - Existence 2. Jikkenteki - The Long Walk Home 3. Filteria - Heliopolis 4. Psyfactor - Endless Universe 5. Vibrasphere - Archipelago

Such a beautiful and original piece of work and art. My favorite release of the year.

Of similar style and quality to the second cd of Long way home, what can you guys recommend me? I've tried Ra - Sirius (which runs in a similar vein), and found it at least equally excellent.

Its generic fullon. In my opinion, not even good generic fullon, if there can be such a thing.

Wasn't their new one supposed to be released today? I don't care particularly much, but still, Duvdev's horrible voice at maximized volume will constitute a sweet vengeance upon my crappy neighbours . Well, nevertheless, any news about it?
