  1. i like that nemo, and i expected a response like that because it had crossed my mind. tracks i like some friends hate and vice versa. but there are even some tracks (and you as a DJ) know that you put in your gig box and you can pull out with 100% confidence it will deliver. i think its the talent in the end. i have amazing ideas, if i was only able to like hook up a machine that could transfer my ideas into the mind of a person who is well practiced in the studio it could be great. then again great to who? haha im so hungry right now
  2. Ok since my peabrain can only understand fighting i will use that anaology but make no mistake about it this is about goa.. so i was listening to dimension 5 tonight, and im like damn thats amazing. so i said to myself im a decent fighter, alot of people think imma be a big deal, and so do i but i been doing it as a kid so ive had lots of practice, as well as time to sharpen my techniques. but one thing you cant teach someone is the killer when in the ring. so the question is, for those who really listen, and those who also produce.. do you think making and producing tracks is something that you have a "natural" talent for, or can you like my fighting actually sharpen techniques by practice and eventually become "amazing". personally i think to make amazing goa practice will help but its that natural talent that really shines. maybe a love and passion for the music helps, but like being in the ring you cant teach someone how to go for that massive KO, likee maybe you cant teach someone how to make leyered melodies like dimension 5, pleiadians. discuss
  3. Nemo, when it comes time for me to have entrance music.. like when I go for a title, which might be soon, I would be honored if you made the track for me or i used one of your tracks. so good. best ive heard from music promotion on here, sorry lost buddha you are a close second though.
  4. The second track off the Divi:Nations comp. from tip. its a parasense i believe, and a good one at that.
  5. You know i got their first, cybermancy. its decent but very samey. so they kinda evolved, some good remixes for sure. this one im not sure about but i ordered. i dont think they will let me down. i usually dont look forward to "new" releases, but this one i have. lets see.. anyways i know im not alone on this.. or am i.. damn i wish those people would stop listening to my fone conversations.. i didnt buy this M14A1 for no reason.. ahah
  6. The 7 discs I am ready to trade are.. 1200mics - time machine planetary nation001 israeli flip on henfield assassi:nations demented after 10 years of japanese trance mindcontrollers part1 raja ram presents evolution of the expanded consciousness. The discs I am looking for are.. MOS - Meter MOS - Drive I will ship anywhere also I ship first class and they arrive very promptly. So let me know!
  7. Most of them were good picks. One that should not have been un-highlighted was Double dragons continuum. Some that should have been was GNOTR. I also think flying rhino re:evolution2 should have been highlighted. Anyways whats your take?
  8. Alright heres a brief rundown of the disc.. know what im sayin? Track 1 - Red alien = It had a slow groove. I was feeling it in the pit it on and take a roadtrip and this track would groove in the back.. headmoving material. Also I would drop this in a set before your nukes, maybe to get people moving a lil. Track 2 - Easy rider = Started faster and darker. Definitely a faster and harder vibe from track 1. Small builds, maybe 2 to 3 deepbefore it transforms into a more complex percussive and synth structure. End product is like a birthday cake thats got a small crack in it. Track 3 - Lady from space = Starts off with typical full-on fashion (kick, bassline). Quickly this track gets rugged, unlike the previous 2 which took some time. Halfway through we have a weak build, although that is quickly forgotten with some power equivalent to teen night at your local bar featuring a "metal" band. Tapers off after that. Track 4 - Kaleidoscope = Starts tribal.. uh yeah. 2 minutes in and now im smiling. Power, 303's with a gritty line and some rotating FX. More please. So far the track title suits the track well. Its controlled chaos, remember that day you got that promotion and was handlin the biz on your own.. yeah like that. Decent. Track 5 - Kaos23 = 3 minutes in and im waiting patiently.. no im not bored, you dont believe me? I will slap you, damn right i will.. IM the authority here!.. yeah im bored If i wanted filler i would go buy spam, and word.. NEXT Track 6 - Felix white = Back to the way things should be. Random saturated noises. Back in the groove, but still going nowhere. About 4 minutes in we have some order. Nope 5 minutes in we have a time signature change. After the switch hit we go back to chaos. I just dont feel this track is effective. *Track 7 - greatful dead = This is more my style. Faster and metallic. Repetative like a train that never leaves the dark tunnel. Random and hard sounds thrown in. As we chug along we add more to the loop. This has many elements i like. I will put this track on my brains speed dial next time i listen to this disc. Track 8 - shiva = Im thinking the same thing, dont try and let the indoor track set high expectations. But so far it sounds like a BAD cheesey J.pop track. It took 4 minutes but were on the waylets see where we go. Some splashed melodies brings us to 6 minutes in with a stable and hard melody. No consistency here. Track 9 - Alice in wonderland = Simple intro, but very engaging. Im almost annoyed but intrigued at the same time. If you have problems, and are faded and listening to this alone at home with headphones on i could see paranoia setting in. Overall this disc is no masterpiece like one of 50 cents albums, I would skip this unless your rich beotch. Otherwise I can see track 7 working it way into your arsenal.
  9. Logic Bomb - Headware Dub trees - V/A East of the river ganges - V/A for MOS - Bug if you have and are interested let me know
  10. Thanks brother! Well the hoodie is a lithium i got from planetx, the pants Diao Chan gave me, the shoes are quiksilver, the sunglasses i got a long time ago on the jersey shore, and the jackass pose.. priceless. hahahahaha really though thanks, guess that particular moment was good one
  11. I object sir! The prophecy is a good track. If you listen close it has old elemtents with the new. Maybe im lucky enough to hear the track over and over and over throughout the day with my earbuds and ipod when im training. Something about running 8 miles and trance seems to fuse together. who knows
  12. I know alot of people do not like the new direction they are going in. "Mainstream" "Clubbly" whatever you want to call it I have done some not so coincidental research. I recently got the mix of open society off their myspace and the prophecy. I put them on my ipod for when i am training. I have butterfly trip first, reaching out second, open society third, the prophecy fourth, dancing galaxy (on a mission remix) fifth and nilaya sixth. what i noticed is open society, yes new style, also feeling like it lacks something i feel it works good for the opening track of an album. I like the sample. Then the prophecy, yes again new style and sounding very fullon-ish but i like the power. It has some energy to it that fits the purpose, and doesnt let up, then the build, very clubby but effective. Then when dancing galaxy comes on the energy level drops a bit.. maybe because ive heard it so much or because its old? Who knows.. alls i know is i like the new style!
  13. I like that, im godfather to nemos son so i guess that makes us family then huh? If you really wanna scatter your brain go on urbandictionary.com and look up the word herb. heh i like saying it. anyways glad its cool brother!
  14. That hurts man ::sniff sniff:: That movie is so old, we were being silly.. as a matter of fact now that skills on all ends are up to par we were thinking of making a really good movie, editted and takes and all, but now i'm second guessing myself after reading what you wrote. I think im going to jump.. off my deck. As far as disappearing i have not mastered that yet, my super cool motorbike is in the process of being sold and if we use music for the scenes theres a good chance 50% will be home made tracks from my good friend who owns a rap label Rediculous = east coast street slang for super cool. Lu Bu + DeathPosture = Friends?
  15. That picture is rediculous. Then again i expect nothing less then that when opening one of your links.
  16. good example.. feuerhake - what is soul. i previewed it on beatport. it sounded amazing. i bought it.. so i listen to now.. it has some dude singing in it. its a good track, but that dude really messed it up imo. damn i need a 1-800-please-help-me line for a trance addict who regrets his recent bad purchase. anyways what are yours?
  17. So many.. My current.. Blue Planet Corporation - Alidade (Wizzy Noise Remix) Children of the Doc - L.S.Dance (Psysex Remix)

  21. Yes I suck badly. But I have four small clips on my site. The latest little clip Pandoras Box I think is decent, but i'm also a twisted individual. Anyways check it out.. plus the other links on the site are cool too. And yes I know the site sucks I don't know computer stuff. But I do know how to crack skulls in the ring.. different story, anyways let me know what you think.
  22. Your a good man, you know why? Because you did the right thing.. no amazing deed should go un-noticed, and you know what since im in such a good mood right now its your lucky day. Tell me what you want, i get it for you.
  23. Well you gotta look at it like this.. your not just selling Goa, you selling something about yourself as well. So you need to put the same passion into it.. what mood are your friends currently in.. do they look like they could get down with something chilled, or something hard. Track selection and timing is everything. If that doesnt work santo give me phone numbers, ill take care of the rest. heh
