There's a new review of the Koxbox album at psyreviews.net. Not that I always agree with his reviews, but he gave it a 10/10 so that sounds very promising!

Just did a trade with Christophe. Cd's arrived quickly and in perfect condition. Great communication as well. Would gladly trade with him again! Dan

So I placed my order, but could not afford at the moment all the cd's I wanted. I deleted the cd's I ordered from my original post, but am still looking for those still listed... My complete (and ever-expanding...) wantlist is available here: http://www.discogs.com/wantlist?user=sidetrakkt and my tradelist is here: http://www.psynews.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=40384 Thanks! Dan

I am going to place an online order soon for the following cd's, but was wondering if anyone had them available for trade (or sale) instead. My tradelist is here: http://www.psynews.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=40384 The other option would be for you to buy them new from Psyshop or Saikosounds and exchange that for one of my cd's... These are the cd's I am looking for: v/a - Downbeat Liquid Vol. 1 (Chillcode) v/a - Solstice Black Compilation #1 (Solstice) v/a - Streamline (Nano) v/a - Summer Collection 2 (Iboga)

Yeah, Transwave is indeed those two. They put out two albums and many other tracks. They're actually back together and are putting out a new (third) album soon! And I saw they are playing in Canada in October, perhaps some other dates as well.

Do you know if track 1 ("Crazy") is the same version of "Go Crazy" on the Chemical Playground comp, or if it is a remix? Thanks!

I'm flying out of town tonight for a wedding and won't be back until Monday night... Not sure if I will have access to a computer, so if you don't get responses from me , don't worry. I'll get back to everyone by Monday or Tuesday. By the way, I added a couple cd's since my original post. Also, the Lumen cd is no longer available... Thanks! Dan

Well, I would rather trade, but you can make me an offer...

I have the following cd's and vinyl available. I would rather trade, but I will consider selling them also if you make me an offer. I'm still sorting through my collection, so I will be adding to this list over the next couple weeks... My ever-expanding wantlist is here (but feel free to make other offers as well!) http://www.discogs.com/wantlist?user=sidetrakkt I would also be happy to trade for cd's from an online store (Saikosounds, Psyshop, etc.) if you don't have anything in my wantlist... Made a trade with him. Got the cd very quickly and in perfect condition. Would definitely trade with him again!

Just discovered the feedback section... I bought a cd from him a little while ago, and it arrived quickly and in great condition.

Yeah, track 2 on Liquid Dub Vol. 7, one of my all-time favorite downtempo releases. The track is by 5036 (or maybe it's S036 - can't tell with the font...) and the track is called "Freedom." Youth is one of the composers.
-
I think it's a track on Liquid Dub Volume 7 (on Liquid Sound Design). It came out around 1998 so may not be the right track, but there's definitely that sample in one of the songs. I'll try to listen to it tonight if I get a chance and see if I can track it down for you... Dan

NEW Tunnel Recors stuff: X-Dream, Morphem, etc
sidetrakkt replied to Taika-Kim's topic in For Sale/ Trade
Actually, some of the items have incorrect postage listed. He said it was because once an item has been sold Ebay won't let him change the descriptions. So, if you think the postage is too high, confirm with him what the actual postage is... I was pleasantly surprised! -
Saikosounds (www.saikosounds.com) has 4 minute samples of every track. Psyshop's samples are way too short. How you can tell anything about a track from a 40-second sample I will never understand...

PSYNAESTHESIA Saturday, April 8, 2006 Portland, Oregon A sonic psychedelic journey guided by: NYSTAGMUS - live! (SunDance Records, BooM! Records, U.S.T.A. Records - Mount Elphinstone, B.C.) With over 16 years of formal music training, including audio engineering and instruction on a wide variety of instruments, Matte Gillard has been writing electronic music since 1995, and has been performing live for the past nine years. Nystagmus' debut album, The Immaculate Perception, has been released on SunDance Records, and several of his compositions can be found on compilations from international labels, including BooM! Records and U.S.T.A. Records. Matte's music takes psychedelic trance to a new level, combining complex melodies, hypnotic rhythms, driving beats, with a touch of humor to produce a uniquely hallucinatory experience for minds and dancefloors alike! www.nystagmus.ca PR0TEUS - live! (SunDance Records - Seattle) One of the northwest’s most prolific producers, Fernando Arquines comes from an improvisational jazz background and is known for his ability to translate thought into sound. As well as playing at several festivals this summer, Andy has kept busy with releases on Elektrik Orgasm and SunDance Records, with a debut album scheduled to be released this year. Making his first Portland appearance in almost a year, Andy’s signature funky twisted psytrance will get the dancefloor grooving! www.pr0teus.com Sweet Chaos (Sidetrakkt – Pittsburgh, PA) One of the east coast’s best-kept secrets, Terry’s eclectic range of styles and impeccable mixing has earned him bookings at several festivals and events across Pennsylvania, New York, Ohio, and West Virginia. Making his first-ever west coast appearance, his set will explore the inner reaches of your mind and beyond! Manifest (Apollo’s Lute, Soular Records – Portland) Jamey has been very active in the northwest psytrance community as a party organizer, dj, and as a producer as a member of Freaks of Nature. Intense, frenzied, and always psychedelic, Manifest will be our guide as our journey moves into the darkness of the night. Makoi (PsyBooty, Catharsis Crew – Portland) Groovy and richly textured, Makoi’s seamless and intricate mixes always tell a story. Makoi strives to disappear into the mix and maximize the potential of the overlapping tracks. That is, to mix two songs together so seamlessly the dj is forgotten, while simultaneously bringing elements from those songs together in a way that heightens their dramatic frequencies and textures. Mac’s set of funky progressive psytrance will be the perfect beginning of our journey. Electric Mayhem (Sidetrakkt – Portland) Founder of Sidetrakkt, Dan introduced psytrance to Pittsburgh, PA through his dj sets and as an event organizer for five years before relocating to the northwest. Known for his diverse selection of music, his sets are carefully crafted to reflect and enhance both the time of night and the energy on the dancefloor. With his closing morning set, Dan will bring our journey to an end, but also a new beginning… Journey begins at 10 p.m. and ends at 7 a.m. $10 - $15 (sliding scale) at the door. Event will take place at Center Space (420 SE 6th Ave. in Portland) For updated event information: www.sidetrakkt.com
