  1. If you mean wrong subforum, then I don't see why. There's plenty of music that is classified as minimal psytrance/ progressive psytrance.

    Filmz Update

Transporter 3 (2008): I've never seen a Jason Statham film I didn't like and this was no exception, but it's a shame that all the fight scenes were made with stupid choppy editing rather than proper choreography. It's not like Statham can't kick ass in style, so why not film him doing so?

The Untouchables (1987): A GOOD MOVIE WITH KEVIN COSTNER IN IT? WHAT IS THIS I DON'T EVEN
  4. Just as I expected, the test tells me I'm left of centre when I'm not. Many of the questions were leading that way IMO. For example: Any yes/no answer to this question presupposes that it's true that many personal fortunes are made by people who simply manipulate money and contribute nothing to their society. I think that's exactly what economic right-wingers would dispute. Also: Nobody thinks that rich people have the right to better healthcare, so this is a strawman question. The fact is that they have the opportunity to get better healthcare, and the real question is whether we should let them. And there were loads of questions like this: That "always" changes things - I don't think anyone can reasonably agree with the statement as written, even if they would strongly agree with the same statement if "always" were replaced by "usually".
  5. I watched the entire series of Mysterious Cities of Gold a few years ago. It still held up really well, even watching it as an adult.
  6. Haha oh wow. I ordered a copy of Forever After from discogs the other day. I didn't pay attention to who the seller was at the time; I've just noticed that it was Peter Candy.
  7. There aren't many pussies to go around in the average theoretical physics department, sadly.
  8. You probably ought to stop that, or else we might have to start setting your posts invisible.

  10. Hey! I resent that. If Delta denotes the Borel algebra of the real numbers R and J is any set, the smallest sigma-subfield of P(RJ) generated by {pi-1(X) | i in J, X in Delta} is the coproduct of |J| copies of Delta in the category of sigma-algebras. I hope this will prove useful in a new formulation of quantum mechanics that people are working on.
  11. Yesterday I proved a theorem that I set out to prove ages ago, so today I'm taking it easy.
  12. Very nice. I like the fact that you've eschewed the usual formalae and made something that sounds a bit different.

  14. This is the result of averaging the colour values at each pixel for every regular (non-Sunday) Garfield strip from 2007: (from here) e: from the same site: e2: Fourier transformed Garfield:
  15. ^ Interesting. I don't usually like vocals in EDM but the ones in that track work very well.
  16. Nope. The Off Topic announcement was just an April Fools. @GagalSM: I hope you don't mind me saying, but your sister is very pretty. Also, nice tats. @T2MU: Nice kid. Nice tiger too.
  17. Are you already familiar with DJ Shadow? His debut album Endtroducing... is an absolute must-have.
  18. They eventually sent her a very nice arrangement, and they've agreed to refund the entire cost. I'm going to use this as an excuse to blow a wad of money at saikosounds.
  19. I don't know anything about Badoo, but I've heard that Facebook's friend-suggestion algorithm is also supposed to be alarmingly effective. Though perhaps you should heed this:
