    You are making a false equivalence between "musical" and "melodic". Rhythm is a musical element.

    Seriously, though, why? Melody is just one element of music. Would you say that ambient music isn't "proper music" because it doesn't have rhythms, or a solo harpsicord piece isn't "proper music" because it has no dynamics or timbral variation? You give enough of a fuck to want to tell everyone about it on the internet.

    QFT. It's really bizarre to me how many psytrance fans manage to completely miss the point of darkpsy. Dismissing it as just "random noises" or "random effects" is like dismissing Goa trance as just "random notes".

    I don't think so. It really wasn't a big deal getting searched, the police were polite and it only took a couple of minutes. It didn't seem to bother them that I had a book with Arabic writing on the cover in my bag.

    I've been stopped and searched under the Terrorism Act once, but it probably wasn't because of the beard - apparently they tend to go for nerdy white guys before anyone else so they can't be accused of racial profiling. One clean-shaven friend of mine has been "randomly" searched about four times.

    Don't have time for a review, but I think it's a really nice and original release. I find it difficult to listen to too much of it in one go though, the odd harmonies are somewhat abrasive.
