    Look at this thread, Radi. Look at darkill's replies. Notice how, even though nobody manages to find exactly what he's looking for, he thanks them for making the effort anyway? Instead of just complaining, as if the entire world revolved around him and people were therefore obliged to give him what he wants? Maybe if you tried doing that just one fucking time then people would be more inclined to respond to your requests in the future.

    To be fair, the meaning of the term "Goa trance" is not universally agreed upon. Although most people on psynews use it the same way you do, many other people just use it interchangeably with "psytrance". Both are widespread enough that neither can be said to be the "correct" usage.

    I think his work is bizarrely hit and miss. The 8th Sphere is one of the best psytrance albums I've ever heard, and Androneda is one of the best ambient albums I've ever heard. But what I've heard of his recent uptempo work seems cheesy and lame.

    They aren't; the rich-text editor is doing that, because it's stupid. There doesn't seem to be any way to disable it for all users, I'm afraid. I ask people to disable it themselves at every opportunity, but most of the time if people are using the default theme then they don't even realise there's a problem. Anyway, if a post is full of grey text that's hard to read, what I do is hit Ctrl-A to select it all. That makes it legible.

    I often get the early symptoms of a cold but it's rare that it goes full-blown. I expect I'd get properly ill more often if I had to go to the centre of London every day, though.

    I listened to Heroes of the Imagination yesterday for the first time in years, after hearing a sample of one of the tracks in K-BAN's quiz. And I have to admit that it was much better than I remembered.

    Standard darkpsy > Old-school Goa > Forest ≅ Psycore/high-tech > Fullon > New-school Goa > Prog That's based on how much I like my favourite releases from each genre. If I were basing it on the average quality of all releases then new-school Goa would be higher and psycore and fullon would be much, much lower.

    Oh, my mistake. I even participated in round 4 (IIRC I tried round 3 but didn't know a single one, or something).

    I feel quite good these days. I've suffered from pretty severe depression for most of my adult life; had a fair bit of therapy and medication that helped me cope but didn't solve the problem. Then two years ago I found a church I like and started going regularly, and since then I've been much better. I voted 7.

    Depends what one is into, really. I generally find it easier to tell darkpsy apart than Goa, I guess because I'm more interested in timbres than melodies.
