  1. This is hard work, isn't it? I've whittled my list down to about 20 I'd like to see on the comp, now I need to listen to them all again to refine my ranking.
  2. Lovely. I already have them, but I urge others who don't to check them out - they're all excellent.
  3. There's also Goastore and Beatspace. Come to think of it, Amazon is a lot more eclectic than it used to be so you can probably get quite a lot of stuff there. Doesn't help you browse new releases though (and Saikosounds' four-minute samples were brilliant for that).
  4. Unlucky. I got the last of the six with my most recent order.
  5. The rich text editor is a piece of shit - and as of a few months ago, so is the plain text editor. I'm guessing what happens is that when you paste a URL into it, it automatically puts tags around it, since they're there in your post. But it isn't doing the same thing for me, so I have no idea what's up. I suggest using the plain text editor to paste URL's, then switching to the rich text editor before you hit "Post" so you can add back any whitespace that the forum chose to remove from your post for no fucking reason. Sorry I can't offer a better solution.
  6. e: Edited because I found a better upload.
  7. Congratulations on becoming a father, and thanks for posting!
  8. Those are some Rowan Atkinson-worthy facial expressions.
  9. It's not that I think any particular sound doesn't fit; rather it's that each sound stands out. What I mean is that I can discern the individual tracks that were put together, whereas a lot of psytrance sounds "smooth" in the sense that it's hard to tell where one voice ends and another begins. Sorry, I'm probably not explaining myself well. Don't get me wrong, I like the track. I just think it has room for improvement.
  10. No idea, sorry. I don't know much about production so I don't even know how to express what I mean well, but maybe altering the balance and adding more layers would make it sound less like a discrete collection of individual instruments and more like a coherent whole.
  11. Indeed, I was going to mention him as soon as I saw the OP. Laughing Buddha deserves a mention too. I find that a good DJ's enthusiasm can be really contagious.
  12. I think Parallel has a lot of potential, but IMO needs more work making the sounds fit together nicely.
  13. I'm giving the contest tracks a listen. Some good stuff there!
  14. We'll be getting the entire compilation mastered before its release.
