Kinda both - I didn't like Kill Bill and I thought the samples were too prominent. But it's just a matter of taste, I'm sure other people would be OK with them.
Will everybody please just agree to disagree. We started this contest to attract new members, let's not immediately drive them away again by being dicks.
That doesn't mean it's stupid to vote for your own track. It just means it's stupid to vote for your own track for any reason other than because you like it enough to put it in your top 10. That's why I say we give people the benefit of the doubt.

I agree that The Matrix is badly overused. It's not like there aren't enough other sci-fi movies to sample, so there's no excuse really.
This assumes that the artists are not sufficiently honest to vote someone else's track higher than theirs if they genuinely think it's better. I prefer to give people the benefit of the doubt.
