  1. Hi gang, In an attempt to get some recommendations flowing, and a chance for other people to listen to something different, I thought I would try a new contest. If you would like to enter, the idea is as such... Reply with your most listened to CD in 2006, plus any thoughts on the album you may have. It can be any album or a compilation. It does not have to have been released in 2006, it's just the CD that you find you have listened to the most this year. I do ask that it be a CD you purchased, not a bootleg download, please (although I will never know, unless it's Radi) At the end of this month, I can draw one or two names from a hat with all the entries, and the winning name(s) can pick one of the CDs listed in the thread as a prize. I do ask that it be a regular priced CD that is readily available from Psyshop, Saikosounds, eBay, etc that is not super rare and expensive. Accidental Occidentalism, for example won't be eligible as a prize, sorry. *You are welcome to list such a CD as your most listened to, but unfortunately I will not be able to award such an expensive CD* Contest ends June 1st. One Entry per person, please do not make new accounts just to enter (not that I think anyone would). All are welcome to enter, including mods. As this is a free contest I make no guarantees. I will cover shipping of the CD to you as well, by mule, pelican, or other slow means of mail. If it gets lost in the mail, I cannot be responsible, sorry. Also, if you happen to win, but either have all the CDs already, or don't want to choose one, you are more than welcome to give your pick to anyone else you wish to here at Psynews. I am hoping this turns out to be fun, and gives people a chance to hear something new. Thanks for any replies, and good luck, Faze
  2. Correct. Single CD. Nothing Lasts
  3. One original CD and 20Gigs of MP3 ripoffs.
  4. syc·o·phant ( P ) Pronunciation Key (sk-fnt, sk-) n. A servile self-seeker who attempts to win favor by flattering influential people. I was actually not aware that Krell is an influential someone, I just liked his posts in this topic is all. Faze (Self-seeking bastard)
  5. Ha! I had to actually look that word up. I suck.
  6. Krell is my hero...for today at least.
  7. Radi, you suck. Look what you did to kitty!
  8. Got some used CDs from a member here at Pietrance. A Magical Journey Artifakt - Artifakts II Kick Bong - A Cup of Tea?
  9. Legal, yes. Cool, no. It's cool to hate everything. I even hate this post!
  10. I've not gotten a chance to listen to Aftermath, since I didn't start listening to Ultimae until 2006.
  11. Stop, you'll get us into one of those post vortexes that never end. People that complain about people that complain about people that complain about something. I have missed out on some great music by blindly going by genre labels. Dark Psy, full-on, etc. I would never think I could like something not Prog or Psy, but I luckily read some other peoples opinions here and tried some of their favs from other genres and found that I really enjoyed some of them. I was an idiot and missed out on some good stuff by sticking to genre labels.
  12. Sounds good to me so far, Radi. It does not sound very emotional, or make me feel in love or looking at step mountains though. Having said that, I still like it. Keep going on it!
  13. Ah. My joke detection radar seems to be busted lately. Tired I guess.
  14. Nah, if I charge any money, then people have the right to bitch if something goes astray. I'd rather leave it totally free, then I don't have to worry about anything.
  15. I still intend to give it a try. Planning stages...
