Hmmm. Im having some suspections this site will not be the same for people who liked it as it was before. Sorry, but that's how i see it. Closing off-topic? You should know and probably know people love this community mostly because it's so free, hardly any moderation etc... But then suddenly everything changed. And it looks things will not be here anymore the same as they used to be. The polls that have been made if i remember correctly was that people were happy with how things were here, without some drama this place would get boring, So Mars you should really consider what the people here want's ..and not you. As it's the people who make this place great, a board without users is nothing. I think this place might turn into a place i don't want to be apart off. Not that many people care. Ok, Dj Buju = GHS. How obious. Should have know. hehe. There Will Be No Armageddon is ranked very high on my "all-time-top" list also. Shame that they didn't release more tracks & albums. I think it's the most violated album in the psynews reviews lists imo as it's not ranked as a classic (red).. But that's another story. I have heard one remix of Red Herring, but it was just some amateur remix i found in dc++ that sounded pretty shitty.. Some artist in izrahood once said he's working on a remix on Red Herring that should have been released somewhere.. but i don't think i ever heard more about it after that.

I allmost flipped out when i couldn't figure where the melody was taken from in Analogue H, and everybody just talked about some other Ticon track that has similiar melodies with a Son Shite track, but not about this track. Anyway.. if someone else is interested i stumbled in our israelian brothers hood on a topic and found out that the melody is from Union Jack - Cactus. One of my all time fave tracks also..

If Ticon wins this time it could also depend on the fact that Ticon was not on that poll to which you posted a link + over half of the other top prog acts were also missing.

Ticon I must say that i have not listened nearly as much to the Phony Elephants as Ticon's new album. Maybe it wil grow on me when i listen to it more.. but at this time Ticon beats the Phony Elephants hands down. Also i have freaked out on Mellers albums, something is seriously wrong with me. I really didn't care that much for progressive before. But something snapped in me some days ago!

Love this cd! All suntrip releases so far have been great, at the moment i like this most of them all, that means it's brilliant..!! Have only listened twice through the album, but so far one of the best releases this year! I should not say more.. maybe when i have listened to it more. As with Shpongle 3 i started to write some review after listening to it like once, saying it is perfect and random shit like that! I still like it, but now i would not have said nearly the same about it. Anyway this cd rocks! Nice melodies. Im so glad someone still makes them. Most of artists seems to think it's a crime to put some melodies inside their tracks. Or then there is this one Killlar melody, but first you gotta listen to the bassline for 7.30 minutes to hear the 20-seconds of a great melody! Argh! But that's not the case with this release.

Adam Strange - Traveller [Madventures theme] Damn that those madventures makers were STUPID to not put english subtitles on their season-1 dvd release. Rumours say season-2 will have them though! This is the best travelling program EVER! Im sure people here would love it. Words can't descibe it.. It's just so real.

My comments should not be noticed if/when buying the album, cooz i have only listened to this album once. BUT even though i love Ticons older albums and singles, this one sounded too electro/housey for my taste. Like some snobby 80's music!

NO It doesn't in any way stand out from a normal full-on compilation... very lame album imo. edit: i want to add that i really like old Astral Projection albums, so im not dissing them like some people that thinks AP is cheese. But the TEN album can in no way be compared to their old production.. it's just a bunch of rolling basslines.

Don't like that -Open Society- track. Like you said, rolling bassline, but not that bad as most fulll-on, but still YUCK!!! The melody doesnt "say" anything, it's just one sound in the background, which sounds for my taste too (normal) trancey. Also they seem to have started some new (new..sure) tricks that you can hear in most of full-on tracks, these 1-second breaks of silence and then the track continues again & other tricks that we have heard million times before.

Röyksopp - The Understanding (whole album) Good shit. I thought before röyksopp is rap.

Dead Or Alive - You Spin Me Round I actually heard that track on a party, it was played as the last track.. It worked very well imo. At home i don't like it at all, infact i hate everything that is connected to the 80's. But it rocked on a big sound-system.

These days probably none use psychedelics, i suspect coke or something similar. I would suspect Texas Faggot could handle acid and tweak some knobs, but they said they only sniff glue.

I found it on a finnish ebay clone and bought it. The seller wasn't a psytrancer. I still haven't listened to it myself. But it's for sale for 100$. I heard people are willing to pay that price for it. Im sure you can't find it in any stores.. only second-hand. Seems to be very rare.
