  1. Hi there, it's been a while since I last posted anything here Anyway, me and a friend of mine just released our album "Revolution Within" on Bandcamp, for free or the affordable price of "pay what you want". https://paintedinvoid.bandcamp.com/album/revolution-within While it will be available on other/streaming platforms a bit later, this Bandcamp release is the only version where you'll get the full package with all bonus materials. This includes: * A 13-page PDF booklet with credits, lyrics, and the album's prologue story named "The Chamber Of Silence - A Winter Tale" * Full size artwork, an individual image for each track * Album versions of all tracks and transitions, and a secret (but not particularly hidden) bonus track The album is a classic winter tale of a wanderer. In the heart of a dark forest a man meets a mystical being called Loneliness, who transforms his life. The seven tracks are presented as the memoirs of this man. The texts are based on a doctrine of understanding oneself, and they hold certain key elements into a shamanistic perspective, where life is seen as it is. The sounds are brought to you by modern means in a mixture of live instruments and electronic landscapes. Tracklist: 1. Touch The Night 2. Edge Of Revolution 3. Dreamcatcher 4. Mountain Of Silence 5. Circle Of The Sun 6. Stone 7. Eagle ?? (Reward)
  2. Not giving him another cent until he releases the album he promised years ago.
  3. Skip to 4:57 if you don't have the patience to wait for it XD
  4. After neglecting my Soundcloud page for about a year, here's finally something new This set is from last weekend, played in a legendary bar called Torvi in Lahti, Finland. Some goa and oldschool psytrance from the darker and more furious end of the spectrum. Tracklist: Shakta & Moonweed - Perfect Invisibility Ka-Sol - Matrix (Remix) ECT - Catapult Shakta - Misra Indica Four Carry Nuts - Lucy (Male Mix) Morphic Resonance - Unreal Toï Doï - Whale Way Express Morphic Resonance - Twisted Reality
  5. Do trackers count in this case? Or are samples from synths considered "external synths"? We're talking mid-90s anyway here If not, maybe something made in early versions of Jeskola Buzz where no samples were used.
  6. So this is basically your way of taking "revenge" on me. Oh how lovely.
  7. Funny how you didn't quote Anoebis saying basically the exact same thing as I did.
  8. I don't see how this is at all relevant to the oldschool/newschool discussion we're having here, but I like my goa trance "dark" (to put it in generic and easily digestible terms), thank you very much.
  9. I still absolutely refuse to accept "NeoGoa" (especially with that capitalisation) as a genre name. You can try to convince me otherwise but you'll fail. To me it's all Goa Trance. Period. And as for "the first newschool track", it's exactly as difficult to define as "the first goa trance track". There was a bit of fluctuation around the turn of the millennium. Off the top of my head, the Ra / Electron Wave / Dimension 5 trinity comes to mind, and also Tranceform Records with Blissful Moments / Ethereal / Ypsilon 5. Astral Projection's Amen isn't really oldschool either. Filteria was among them too but I don't hold him in nearly as high regard as most of the scene seems to.
  10. No, I asked since when it's been the name of a genre.
  11. That was actually completely unintentional, but I did chuckle a bit when I realized it. I knew someone would notice XD Thanks
  12. Here's a little something I've been working on with a friend of mine for longer than we'd like to admit The album is about 95% done now, and before we take a summer vacation from this project, here's a teaser of what to expect. We don't have a definite release date yet, but it will be out before the end of the year
  13. One of my favourites from the early '90s too (Sirius Sounds), and this post reminded me that I actually haven't listened to it in ages
