  1. Hmm, personally I'm not really sure what to think of this yet (depends on what you release, and on my financial situation which is a bit of a disaster at the moment). Anyway, an honest observation: you might need to rework your logo a bit. I mean, I'm not a professional designer by any measure, but that "Reprints" word in your logo suffers from some awful kerning problems. It looks more like Re p r ints to me. Apart from that, good luck on your project. If I can support it remains to be seen...
  2. Based on the artist description (I didn't listen to the previews) I expected something Xenomorph-like. Well, it's not, but I still like it Not by any means mindblowing, but nice in any case
  3. They should have included Far Too Loud's absolutely fantastic remix of The 1st. Not having high hopes for this anyway.
  4. *points to info below his avatar* Helsinki, Finland
  5. I must admit, I'm cautiously excited about this. "Cautiously" because I wasn't that impressed with the recent live release, and as much as I adore his very original sound, his tracks do have a tendency to sound quite same-ish. Here's to hoping he's not turning into a one trick pony That cover art though. The most beautiful cover I've seen in years <3
  6. ----
  7. Exact Audio Copy, although using its "copy range" feature as the normal tracklist won't list the hidden track.
  8. I've had no troubles ripping the few tracks before track 1 I have on a few CDs (including the track in the topic).
  9. So I (finally...) decided to start clearing my summer goa trance backlog, here's part 1. More parts probably to follow "before the end of the year" or so. Anyway, here's some midsummer madness for your enjoyment Tracklist: Dragon Twins - The Third Wave Psychopod - Friagram (Growling Mad Scientists Refried Gram Mix) Resurex - Copine Passenger - Mankind Arronax - The Unknown Helions Guard Screw Loose & DJ Stevo - Celestial Bleeps Slide - 2274 Kadasarva - Quaternion Xenomorph - Harbingers Of Extinction UX - Pure Intellect (Reloaded) Toï Doï - Whale Way Express Morphic Resonance - Altered Perception
  10. The last email/update from the Indiegogo campaign was in May last year: Looks like that didn't happen.
  11. That cover looks oddly familiar:
  12. Upgraded to optical fibre, same price as before (30€ / month) Ping is a bit worse though.
  13. Suntrip, yes. Ovnimoon to a certain extent maybe (definitely has a more prog edge to it). If you want the most "goa" label of the whole Geomagnetic.tv sublabel jungle, maybe Timewarp is most appropriate Timecode/Sangoma, definitely no.
  14. Just to make one thing absolutely clear: the stuff Ultimae releases is (for the major part at least) not "ambient". To my knowledge, there's not one single label in the entire psy scene that releases only "ambient".
  15. So is your slogan going to be "we are 1" ?
  16. Yes. Coming from 1500 hours of Skyrim, the combat in TW1 is just horrible. In Skyrim it's simple: you click, you attack. In TW1, you click and perhaps with a 50% chance, something happens (and in fistfights it's maybe a 10% chance or less that something happens). And I'm not exactly a fan of timed clicks in combat, feels like constant small QTEs. Also, the lack of ranged weapons is a bit meh (again, coming from Skyrim with a preference for sneak+bow). But at least TW3 seems to have crossbows 16 hours into the game on normal difficulty, and currently a bit into chapter 2. No way I'll start over. But overall, I like the atmosphere and dialogue (Skyrim was a bit too clean in these departments) and characters (for the most part). Dwarves seem to have a knack for sarcasm
  17. Oh shit, The Witcher trilogy is on sale on Steam. ~26€ for all 3 games (excluding the season pass for W3). I...guess the rest of the year is booked for me >_> (I do have a gig coming up in 2 weeks, but after that, nothing
  18. I just got this email from Bandcamp: So, uh. I guess it was released :DDDD
  19. There are no bad human beings. If they're bad, they're not human beings. Uh, I'm sorry but it doesn't exactly work like that. Unless you live in some sort of a weird isolated bubble.
  20. Yes, but what does that have to do with what gets released on CD, other than you not liking the fact that your favourites don't get released on CD? I didn't buy the Lunar Dawn CDs because IMHO that wasn't worth it, yet you don't see me running around asking why LD was released on CD, and not for example, BlackStarrFinale's AURYN.
  21. You guys need to stop whining. And I see no reason why Richpa needs to explain himself if your personal favourite albums don't get a CD release and your not-so-favourite ones do. PS. I'll take Veasna over GoaD any day of the year. And I wouldn't exactly call Imba's Impossible Astronaut either "mediocre" or "short" (it's a 52 minutes long EP).

  23. I'm curious to know what happened with the 2 collaborations with Colin and ECT? Did they just not fit on the album? Will we see them released some day? Got the CD today
  24. The things I stumble upon when messing around Discogs: Submatukana - The Krypt Breakcore and such
  25. I hate headphones with a passion and only use them when DJing, or in rare cases on long and boring bus/train/airplane rides (which doesn't happen too often). I live on my own so I don't need headphones at home. I have a pair of Adam A7x studio monitors as my "computer speakers" so to say. I listen at quite moderate volumes, no complaints from neighbours yet Maybe not exactly the same but I've always had a problem with the sound of Pleiadians - I.F.O. It mostly sounds like shit on my monitors (remastered or not), it sounded like shit when they played live at a club in Helsinki, and at ZNA gathering too with a Funktion One rig. This summer at Kosmos Festival in Finland there was an oldschool goa DJ set on saturday evening, and they played amongst everything else a Pleiadians track (fuck me for never remembering which track is which...) and it sounded fucking awesome, so that was kind of an oddly satisfying moment
