  1. That collaborators list looks damn impressive
  2. I don't know from where this popped into my mind right now. Heard this (and the entire "Images" album/compilation) for the first time when I was about 10 years old. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VTC9mr85IpI
  3. Was going to post that Koxbox cover too. My 2nd favourite after TLD.
  4. There's both sides to a coin
  5. Well while we're going off topic already, I still think one of the best album openers is Infected Mushroom - Release Me: "Now there's much we can learn from each other, if we can negotiate a truce. We can find a way to coexist. Can there be a peace between us?" "Peace...no peace." "What is is you want us to do?" "Die." From the movie "Independence Day" if my memory doesn't fail me.
  6. Well it's not all PLUR and love'n'light and rainbows and unicorns and fairies to be honest.
  7. Well that was quite a crushing victory, you deserved it
  8. I don't think so, both got 77 points so there was a tied 9th place and no 10th.
  9. Seems like the ones who preordered got the prologue for free (I did).
  10. Half of the images here are gone so I don't know if this has already been posted: WTF, really.
  11. https://globalsect.bandcamp.com/album/prologue
  12. That's something you should figure out yourself. And you should be fairly familiar with some earlier Neogoa releases The World Beyond on Ektoplazm.
  13. Why should I explain it? Ask the artist why they used it. I can't actually make out what the beginning says. "Life is [something unintelligible], yours is over". "I bring death". "We will live, they will die". But yeah, artists can sample whatever they want for all I care
  14. I'm actually starting to like this album as a whole.
  15. That's correct.
  16. Well done, everyone
  17. This Acid, as in Lysergic Acid Diethylamide.
  18. Yea, I got rather confused about it too so I just thought "fuck it, this is too complicated".
  19. I'll try to find 6 hours some day when I have absolutely nothing else to do and listen to this entire thing in one go.
  20. /facepalm
  21. I've been meaning to get that Biosphere album for I don't know how many years now, thanks for reminding me
  22. Shpongle - Are You Shpongled? (obviously) Banco de Gaia - Maya / Last Train To Lhasa / Live At Glastonbury / Big Men Cry / The Magical Sounds Of Mathuresh - Metaphor VA - The Chakra Journey (Return To The Source. CD 2 is one of my favourite downtempo comps from back then) Toires - Hemisphere / Oued VA - Infinite Excursions 2 (TIP Records) Galaxy - Angel / Solar Synthesis EKKO - Centripetal VA - Eclipse (Twisted Records) Total Eclipse - Access Denied (some people can't stand this album, I think it's if not great at least OK)
  23. So what's the story/error behind Cyberland and Analogue Step being at the wrong speed on the CD pressing, as noted on Discogs. I did some calculations based on the given info and it seems it was a 44.1kHz/48kHz error when copying the DAT, but how wasn't this noticed before sending the material to the pressing plant?
  24. Originates as a subtitle on the Goa-Head series, and subsequently used as is on the rather questionable Goa Trance series This looks like another ripoff with the same typeface, and a typo "Pshychedelic Techno".
