  1. Hehe, The Age Of Love was played at least a couple of times at ZNA
  2. I can't even go near a dancefloor if I've taken acid, the music just sounds so utterly ridiculous and horrible at the same time; the further away from it, the better. Some relaxing chill music sems to be OK; I was kinda forced to play one night this midsummer when I was still quite very much tripping and after a few tracks of not handling goa trance at all I hit the brakes and swithced to downtempo and played an improvised set that wasn't actually half that bad. But it was still quite a challenge. That stuff is so unpredictable for me that I should stop doing it altogether (not that I've done it much in my life to begin with). Not that I've ever really enjoyed intoxicating substances to begin with. Being drunk is just stupid, weed makes me feel like shit. Shrooms have been nice so far but that's a rarity for me anyway. Speed and MDMA I've tried but they didn't really do anything to me. Also worth mentioning is that what can be considered an effective dose is completely random in my case. I have no idea if 100mics is gonna send me to space for the next 12 hours or if 500mics decides to keep me sober.
  3. I've been meaning to post something like this but never got around to doing it That being said, here's a few: Zymosis - Usual Miracle Micky Noise & Alkan Remix Shpongle - The Seventh Revelation Western Rebel Alliance Remix Bluetech - Oleander Phutureprimitive Symbiotic Remix Bluetech - Prayers For Rain J.Viewz Remix Talpa - The Moon Chromosome Remix Infernal Machine - Loin King Man With No Name Remix Hux Flux - Time Slices Remix 1200 Mics - Egypt Eat Static Remix Toires - Kia Digital Mystery Tour Remix Digital Mystery Tour - Voodoo Love Toires Remix
  4. Yes please, someome convince Pete Martin to do at least a one time comeback. The Search, First Contact, Alien Hitmen, Waking Up To Chaos, Synapse Stroker, the Unstable album in its entirety, Creepy Crawly and his Satori tracks with Process, his Radiation tracks with Chris Conklin. That would kick some serious ass
  5. Yeah, MFG played stuff from The Prophecy era and some new stuff. Nothing from New Kind Of World or Project Genesis, well apart from that horrible fullon cheese remix of New Kind Of World. Didn't really care that much for any of the DJs, apart from what I heard of Jean Borelli & Kristian, and Solitare (both of said sets I didn't hear in full). DJ Bim played more cheese than I could stomach. And Alpha with his hi-tech/darkpsy set was unbearable for me. And some sets I missed because I just had to sleep. Like UX (heard just a bit of the beginning before I fell asleep), Lotus Omega and Crop Circles (heard some of both to my tent between waking up and falling asleep and waking up and falling asleep again), DJ Goblin (missed it completely and I heard it was awesome), OOOD (heard a bit from the beginning before I passed out). And say what you want, but Filteria as the surprise act at the end wasn't exactly a nice surprise. Yes I know you all love him but I've seen him live way too many times to get excited anymore. I could have thought of a dozen better newschool goa artists as an alternative
  6. Same, and add Psychaos and Shakta to that aswell
  7. You don't want to hear my 1997 tracks. No, seriously, you don't.
  8. Yep. What about some Matsuri releases like Sympathy In Chaos (1997), Feel The Noyze (1997), Let It Rip (1997), Forever Psychedelic (1998), Digitalis - The Third State (1998), or releases by Snake Thing for example? Maybe some pre-psybreaks from 1997/1998 to whenever it became "proper" psybreaks (that I'm not really familiar with).
  9. You should have seen me when Xenomorph played. Fuck yes that was the best gig I've experienced in years PS. I'd appreciate it if you guys would use Paul Eye instead of PaulEye. Nitpicking maybe, it just annoys me.
  10. This is the first time I've seen myself dancing on a video
  11. Lots of CDs added again. And prices still as reasonable as ever
  12. That's a cropped version of the artwork. The pics he put up on Facebook are the real deal https://www.facebook.com/eatstatic/photos/pb.19615493659.-2207520000.1438203840./10153073020218660/?type=3&theater
  13. Was there something special about this track?
  14. Moonweed - Voice Of Jupiter doesn't belong in the newschool goa section, but rather in oldschool. And similarly, Ethereal - Anima Mundi isn't oldschool but one of the first newschool goa albums (And just personally I'd like to see PortaMento - The Portal and Omnivox - Fragments Of Evolution in the newschool (bonus) section). And maybe a bit nitpicking but the album cover for Cydonia - In Fear Of A Red Planet in the experimental bonus section is from the Avatar re-release. The original Blue Room cover would be better in this case
  15. If for nothing else, for an "I was here" kinda notification for other Psynewsers Anyone else coming with the 16:00 ZNA bus from Lissabon by the way? I missed the 10:00 bus by mere hours it seems (didn't realize it was full booked until after I bought the bus ticket...) and so I have a nice 7h wait at the airport until the bus leaves
  16. I know you want 5 CDs minimum per order, but I practically either have or have had all of these. Except for the Patchwork CDs that I'd be interested in (but that's 4 CDs). How much would you want for them and what the shipping price to Finland?
  17. Strange things happen when your idea of playing a set of closing tracks from old goa trance albums mutates into, well, this From light to darkness and back again. And a tracklist that at a quick glance doesn't exactly scream "downtempo". And also, easily the best set I've played so far. Tracklist: Transwave - Phototropic Man With No Name - Azymuth Etnica - Baraka Xenomorph - Cassandra's Nightmare The Delta - Dr. Rayman Sandman - Mushroom Symphony Ozric Tentacles - Pteranodon (Hallucinogen Remix) Slide - Searching Slowly Total Eclipse - Nakano Ghost UX - U.X. Part 2 S.U.N. Project - Energia Magica Banco de Gaia - Eagle Sundog - 7 Minutes To Midnight Tandu - New Aura
  18. A solid compilation for sure, but my only gripe is with the Tandu track, which is their best track by far. Compared to the album version, this is both channel- and polarity-inverted and has almost all the bass sucked out of it so that it basically sounds like shit.
  19. I'm also slightly hopping already, from excitement 4 WEEKS TO GO! Whee!!
