  2. 1200 Mics - Egypt (Eat Static Remix) Now that's some properly melodic fullon
  3. Yep, already waiting to see him at ZNA https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qT4WTJz9pdc
  4. 2 melodic no-cheese favourites of mine: Zirrex - Ritual Dance. Fullpower melodic psy. Algae Bloom - The Blossom. The artist calls it "daypsy" as it's a bit difficult to classify. And loads and loads of goa trance but that's kinda melodic by definition
  5. Copypasted from Ektoplazm's styles list. And removed goa.
  6. Words always seem to fail me when I try to give praise to my favourite albums, but I recently made a list of the 10 (no, make it 11 just because) best albums from the first half of this decade (2010-2014). This was the only "psytrance" album on that list, which perhaps tells something about how much I simply adore this album. It's melodic, positive and dancefloor friendly with absolutely no cheese. And for once doesn't fall into the formula of corny new age and/or drug samples and "let's stick a shitty downtempo track at the end of the album just like everyone else and call it a day". The first drop in tempo comes already at the second track and it's a good cool down from the fantastic opening track. Then we're up in high gear again for the next 2 tracks (not even the dubstep breaks on Extremist bother me at all). Magic Colors is another nice cooldown before the 20 minutes odyssey of Solar System. Rock Box brings the album to a nice closing with lots of guitars, and so what if there's an acoustic guitar riff exactly like the one in Infected Mushroom's Bust A Move, and a slight touch of IM-esque vocals. Apparently the guy likes IM, and if you ask me, kicks the shit out of them on any given day. Fullpower psytrance at its best, highly recommended, et cetera. 5/5
  7. No images or visions or visuals whatsoever. Plenty of emotions and feelings though. It's always been like this. Quite the same thing with psychedelics actually, although the visual aspect is sometimes a bit stronger than just "nothing at all".
  8. Off the top of my head and without lengthy explanations, albums with barely any dull moments (meaning that nothing can be pure bliss from start to finish I'd say) Omnivox - Fragments Of Evolution Ephedra - Journey Through My Head PortaMento - The Portal BlackStarrFinale - AURYN Crossing Mind - The Inner Shift Artifact303 - Back To Space Goasia - From Other Spaces Merr0w - Born Underwater Nolax - Turning Point Trinodia - Stargazing Surely I forgot something.

    Psychopod - Dreampod

You can get it for cheaper on Discogs. Which actually reminds me, I should get this
  10. How about If I Wasn't Human, I'd Be A Trance Track.
  11. Does this qualify? LIstening to it right now and it's quite out there Limiti - Information Is Creation Makes me mainly think of Suomisoundi This is a fantastic EP. The link you posted goes to the Goa section @ Ektoplazm (I fixed the link in this quote).
  12. inb4 Museum of Consciousness And, truth to be told, Tales of the Inexpressible to some extent. I was expecting some tripped out weirdness and got pseudo-psychedelic world music.
  13. The goa trance freak in me is already drooling and waiting for ZNA Gathering
  14. Just an observation: why are so many posts in this particluar thread riddled with seemingly random colour tags. I'm on the Deviant theme (which is quite dark compared to the default one) and can't read lots of the dark coloured text here.
  15. Yep, the best of the TIP Singles compilations. Kicked ass some 15 (err, make that 17) years ago when I bought it and still does. Especially Laughing Buddha's Karma which honestly is better than everything else LB did, combined. OK, so the Doof track never really clicked with me, and Synchro's tracks are more or less "OK". And Snake Thing is Aussie weirdness galore but that was hardly a surprise
  16. I got tired of this combo years ago. Actually, drug samples and lazy <insert any music style here>. If that's the only thing that supposedly makes your music "psychedelic", well, I don't know what to say. Take a look in the mirror, or something?
  17. Another silly "Mac vs PC" fight. Just what this thread needs.
  18. Well okay I'm blind. I actually got two emails from Anjuna titled "Your Anjuna Records order from November 1, 2014 is complete" a few days ago. Finally got a tracking number. But still, this was a month after I got an email saying "will be reshipped asap". And I got no notification email whenever it was originally shipped (december?).
  19. Actually, beta4 came out in december I've never bothered with Test & Copy. Copy is usually just fine with AccurateRip & CueTools (which both are included in the installer). Some trickery is usually in order if you don't get a 100% clean rip. Usually lowering the read speed is enough but some CDs cause read errors even then. If that's the case use burst read mode and listen to the sections that produce errors in secure mode. If there are no glitches, al good
  20. I emailed you over a week ago with no answer yet. No replies anymore to facebook pm either.
  21. Well if that's the case I'll take your word for it and go edit my Discogs submission. Sorry for any confusion I've caused but usually these green ones are CDr so I incorrectly assumed these to also be.
