  1. A bit over 900 CDs. Downtempo/chill/ambient, goa, some psy/fullon/etc, some space/psy rock, and a bunch of random whatever*. I just did a list of unique releases in my collection over at Discogs, a bit over 1300 all in all. 542GB on my harddrive(s)**. 99.8% FLAC * most notably all albums by Björk, Portishead, Gotan Project, Maaya Sakamoto, Husky Rescue ** desktop, backup, laptop
  2. Yes. Has for the record happened to me for example with Shpongle's first album back in 1998. At first I didn't understand it at all, almost regretted buying it. Then a few listens later, MIND BLOWN

Altar - good albeit mostly on the proggy side these days, some gems in there for sure Ultimae - some hits, some misses, mostly hits Aleph Zero - the older releases are better, they turned a bit experimental towards the end (I have no idea if they're releasing anything anymore) Virtual - the label for everything Ishq / Matt Hillier and then some Celestial Dragon - some hits, some misses, some really weird releases... Chill Tribe - if you can still find some of their releases Disco Gecko - everything Banco de Gaia Dakini Interchill Liquid Sound Design Native State Records Omnitropic Peak Records - they have some downtempo too Blue Hour Sounds - they also have some downtempo too Somnia - if you can still find any of their releases Gliese 581c - some downtempo, some uptempo, mostly downtempo Psyderweb Sentimony Electrik Dream Sofa Beats Ajana Records - some hits, some misses, quite average in general IMHO Soundmute - some downtempo in there too Waveform Beats & Pieces Blue Tunes - some downtempo in there too Chillcode Cosmicleaf Cyan Music Liquid Records - Slackbaba and then some Did I forget something?
